Spring
Spring Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Iedereen weet beter, geeft me goede raad

Alles mag niets moet

Ik wil leven, ik wil vrij zijn
Ik wil op mijn eigen benen staan
Ja, mijn leven moet van mij zijn
Ik wil kiezen waar ik heen moet gaan
En ik spring, spring, spring
De wereld in

Ik wil leven, ik wil vrij zijn
Ik wil op mijn eigen benen staan
Ja, mijn leven moet van mij zijn
Ik wil kiezen waar ik heen moet gaan

En ik spring, spring, spring
De wereld in

I've been into Prog rock most of my 53 years and I've never even heard of this. But, damn, this is freaking excellent! It goes all over the place but is stitched together so seamlessly. The Mellotron everywhere makes the whole deal sweeter. The vocals are all right, not fantastic, but the rest of the musicianship and the entire, just VIBE, of the album is so eminently listenable. So glad I know about this now :)

I am 24 years older than you and I have never heard of them either, not bad at all. Try Atmosphera from Israel around the same period. Cheers, have a good one and don't take any chances.

@B P Absolutely, I was just thrilled and surprised to have found a "new" British band after all these years, it's been a great journey musically, I can't get enough music of most genres and in most languages. Cheers, and look after yourself. I hope music means as much to you as it does to me.

Ian Wilkinson

Hey thanks, there was an English band from Leicester of the same name, and assumed it was them, as it turns out, they only produced one self-named album in 1971. Cheers.

This is quite beautiful. Sometimes the singer (and the arrangements) remind me of early Elton John which is probably due to Gus Dudgeon's influence.
