But while Sprung Monkey made their name in surf, skate, and snowboard flicks, they earned their reputation on the road. Tours with Blink 182 and the Offspring and slots on the Van's Warped Tour and ESPN's X-Games introduced loads of fans to this kick-ass So Cal band, and 6 Australian tours (so far) made them a worldwide phenomenon (or Angus Young's love children, at least).
Which brings us to the reason we're here: "Get A Taste". Sprung Monkey's newest CD combines the raw energy of "Swirl" and "Mr. Funny Face" with the experience and inspiration of a band that's been through it all. With previous discs selling in the hundreds of thousands, Sprung Monkey takes things to the next level--"Get a Taste" has more hooks than a meat locker and more attitude than Johnny Knoxville's jock strap.
Sprung Monkey 2002, but reformed in 2005.

The song "Human" by Sprung Monkey is an introspective piece that reflects on the inherent flaws of being human. It stresses that humans are imperfect beings, who are prone to make mistakes, have temptations, and live with hypocrisy. The entire song revolves around the central idea that no matter how hard one tries, he/she cannot escape from the natural weaknesses that come with being a human being.
The lyrics depict the duality of human nature: the positive and negative aspects of our character. On the one hand, we have aspirations that drive us to achieve greatness, while on the other hand, we also have faults that hold us back. The song acknowledges that our desires often overpower our needs, leading to an imbalance that can have devastating consequences. In the end, it implores the listener to take responsibility for their actions and recognize the limit of human knowledge and abilities.
