Divingsion is our weakness, Christ has set us free
All are equal in His sight
Sending out a cry for unity
United we stand
Divided we fall
United
Christ gives us meaning for our lives
In Him there's no division, there ain't no black there ain't no white
Squad five-0's in the house
Brothers and sisters jump up and down.
United we stand
Divided we fall
United
UNITED!
The lyrics of Squad Five-O's song, United We Stand, convey a message of unity and its significance in overcoming diversity and divisions. The song begins with an appeal to recognize that division often leads to weakness and that Christ has set us free from such weaknesses. In this context, the song calls for a cry of unity in recognition of the fact that all are equal in His sight.
The chorus emphasizes the power of unity, stating that we stand when united and that we fall when divided. The second verse brings Christ into the picture again, implying that through Him, there are no barriers of black or white. Squad five-0's in the house and the call to jump up and down serve to reinforce the joy and spirit of oneness that come with unity.
