1) St. Christo… Read Full Bio ↴There are at least two artists named St. Christopher:
1) St. Christopher are a British indie pop band formed in York in 1984, who released several records on Sarah Records in the late 1980's, and have continued to release records since.
St. Christopher are mainly known for their four singles and 10" mini-LP on Sarah Records, although they actually have a much longer history, both before and after their time on Sarah. They produced a prolific quantity of recordings on a variety of labels, from the early 1980s to the present.
The only constant member of the band during its more than twenty years of existence has been Glenn Melia, and, during this time, Melia and St. Christopher have recorded with many well-known indie labels, including Sarah, Bus Stop, Vinyl Japan, Elefant, Slumberland, Caff, and Parasol. The band probably achieved greatest recognition for the single "All of a Tremble," released in 1989.
The original line-up of the band also featured Terry Banks, who went on to lead Tree Fort Angst.
In 2007, a compilation album of their previous releases titled Lost at Sea - The Sarah Recordings was released by Plastilina Records. Their last record was the CD single "Burnout".
2) The project of Chris Tragos, a Chicago based producer aiming to deliver an unforgettable experience through his transcendent, hard-hitting electronic music that bleeds charisma.
Ethereal melodies, driven synths & pounding drums paired with deep composition creates an experience unlike any other. The motivated producer draws inspiration from history, architecture, video games & films to fuel his creative fire.
Saint Christopher is committed to developing as an artist, brand & human.
Salvation
St. Christopher Lyrics

It seems I catch you out again
Catch you out again
So easily
It's a cross I have to bear
A mistake I have to share if it kills me
Kills me
Every day
It seems we're pulled apart again
Torn apart again
Too easily
It's a risk that I have to take
An affair that I have to break if it kills me
Kills me
Fifty years too soon
You've let your hair down once too often
You know that I would often pray
And talk to me of jealousy
'Cause that's not all it can be
The lyrics of St. Christopher's song Salvation speaks about the struggles and challenges one faces in a relationship. The opening lines, "Every day, it seems I catch you out again, catch you out again, so easily," suggests a feeling of betrayal or disappointment. The repetition of the phrase "catch you out" implies a sense of mistrust and doubt in the other person's actions.
The next line, "It's a cross I have to bear, a mistake I have to share if it kills me," portrays the idea of acceptance and forgiveness. The singer acknowledges that they too are not perfect and can make mistakes. The line "Sixty years too soon" suggests the feeling of regret that the relationship might end before its time.
In the second verse, "Every day, it seems we're pulled apart again, torn apart again, too easily," communicates a sense of frustration and despair. The line "It's a risk that I have to take, an affair that I have to break if it kills me" suggests a difficult decision that the singer has to make for their own good.
The chorus, "You've let your hair down once too often, you know that I would often pray, and talk to me of jealousy 'cause that's not all it can be," talks about the complexity of relationships. The singer seems to be saying that there might be more to the other person's behaviour than a simple act of carelessness.
Overall, the lyrics of Salvation by St. Christopher explore themes like trust, forgiveness, and the complexity of human relationships.
