O Come All Ye Faithful
St. Ives Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

O come, all ye faithful
Joyful and triumphant
O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem
Come and behold Him
Born the king of angels!
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Jesus, the Lord
Sing choirs of angels
Sing in exaltation
Sing all ye citizens of heaven
Glory to god
Glory in the Hightest

O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
O come, let us adore Him
Jesus
Come and behold Him
Come and behold Him
Come and behold Him
Born the king of angels.
Yea, lord, we greet thee
Born this happy morning
Jesus, to Thee, be all glory giv'n
Word of the Father
Now in flesh appearing.
O come, let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
Jesus
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
O come let us adore Him
Jesus
O jesus
Jesus
Let us adore
Let us adore
Let us adore
Let us adore
Let us adore
Let us adore
Let us adore
Let us adore
Let us adore

Let us adore
Let us adore.

Wonderful to listen to, but this is an instrument you need to see being played to really appreciate. Incredible!

All of these vintage Christmas videos are precious. I can't thank this channel enough for making this Christmas season extra special.

@shyman99 Lol, IF they win! Heaven forbid they get in a 5th time and it ends up like that Titans game a couple weeks ago! (Would be rather reminiscent of that 1st SB trip!)

shyman99

@Andork Kuomo - Oh yes, I remember the good old days when the Bills were always in the conversation and a great program. Glad to know they are coming around again and hope to see them in the Superbowl. That would be quite a story.

Andork Kuomo

@shyman99 Okay, I see where this all went awry. When you responded to the first person and said "That's why you see the Christmas sections opening in stores in October ... They are doing this exactly as it should be done" it threw me a curve. I took it as you were referring to holiday merchandising whereas you were talking about the timing of the video. I'm taking the video as being about Virgil Fox and the fact that it's a Christmas carol is inconsequential to me. I couldn't care less about that because, unlike Christmas elves already on Walmart's shelves, the video will still be here in 10 months, or 10 years for that matter. As for the NFL, we're all Bills fans around here and we're glad that after a solid 30 years of bungling every game to death, they're finally playing a good game on a regular basis! :-D

shyman99

@Andork Kuomo - This entire thread is based on his complaint about the timing of when these videos are posted. Then you challenged my reply where I mentioned why this channel posts Christmas videos early. Now you're saying you don't see his point in complaining about when it is posted. So what exactly was the point of replying to me in the first place? Where did I ever state that Christmas should be promoted outside of Christmas when all I was doing was addressing why Ed Sullivan posts videos early? You basically hijacked a thread to discuss a problem you have about Christmas promotion that was not even part of the conversation. So yeah, I made an assumption your response was about the discussion topic and not some random thought process out of nowhere. Would you also like to debate who is the best NFL team while you are at it since apparently everything is fair game in this thread?

Andork Kuomo

@shyman99 Boy, you really talk like you must be a smart guy. Then again, reading comprehension obviously isn't YOUR strength either! First of all, where did I mention anything about the timing of this video? I didn't. I guess I can presume that this is an assumption on your part. The other poster complained about it and, frankly, I can't see his point in complaining about what time of year a Youtube video is posted! But I, like pretty much every other human on the planet, do get sick of seeing
