Stacey Kent Lyrics

A dreamy view
Just we two alone with love
In Dreamsville, time is new
We're here to love, and we do
We can see the rest of the world below us
From our pink cloud
As we go exploring hand in hand
In dreamy Dreamsville, far away
We're here to love, here we'll stay
The lyrics to Stacey Kent's song Dreamsville speak of a dreamy, magical place where the singer and her lover are holding each other in a cocoon of love. The first verse sets up this image of a dreamy view where the lovers are alone with each other in Dreamsville, and time is new. This suggests that in this magic land, time does not exist as we know it, and everything is frozen in a state of pure love and happiness.
The second verse takes the listeners on a journey of discovery, as the lovers explore Dreamsville hand in hand. They can see the rest of the world below them from their pink cloud, implying that they are above the noise and chaos of daily life. Here, in this magical place, there is no boundary, and everything is possible. They are free to roam, to explore, and to love each other without any inhibitions.
The lyrics of Dreamsville evoke a sense of escapism and a yearning for a place where one can simply be happy and in love. The song is a beautiful ode to the power of love and the human desire for a world where everything is perfect.
