What?
Stan Getz Lyrics

What's new?
How is the world treating you?
You haven't changed a bit
Handsome as ever I must admit

What's new?
How did that romance come through?
We haven't met since then
Gee, but it's nice to see you again
What's new?
Probably I'm boring you
But seeing you is grand
And you were sweet to offer your hand
I understand

Adieu
Pardon my asking what's new
Of course you couldn't know
I haven't changed
I still love you so

Adieu
Pardon my asking what's new
Of course you couldn't know
I haven't changed
I still love you so

How could anyone not love Stan Getz? His lyricism and intonations are second to none.

Craig B. Franklin

I love this guy! I grew up listening to him. I am reading his autobiography now.

Thomas Gibbons

We loved him and he knew it, so he played us.

Brilliant, thanks for sharing 👍... . STAN was Amazing..... Selmer so it seems..? Somewhat Art approached chiseled Art... absolutely Excellent, Brilliant, Amazing. Version of ' Day & Night 🌙 ' is one of the most beautiful Versions 😍 not sure but some of this must have recorded live in studio? Nice just running tape...... closed it off with tight Latin/ Brazil beat......

Claudio Marins

I think it's Bossa Nova, style Brazilian music!!

Just so you know: the track at 53:43-57:37 is NOT Stan Getz! It's some "smooth jazz" player (a la "Kenny G") playing "We're In This Love Together"!?! You might want to remove that from this otherwise nice Stan Getz Collection!

Ron Spicer

That's the Earl Reeves Quartet playing "We're In This Love Together"

Thomas Bpunkt

You are certainly right: NOT Stan. But Kenny G? No. This is not a soprano sax.
