The band got their name while in the USA. The four often got coffee at Starbucks, and in the USA, Konstantin was known as 'Stan' - and at Starbucks they write your name on the cup when you order. The waitress asked them if they were a band and suggest the name therefore.
In September 2007 Stanfour released their debut single, Do It All, which jumped in the German single charts, and reached place 46. Their second song, For All Lovers, was chosen by Sat.1 as trailer music for the TV show 'Nur die Liebe zählt' (Only Love Counts) and ran in September 2007. Their debut album 'Wild Life' came out on February 29, 2008. From April 2 to May 5, the band were the main opening act for the Backstreet Boys on their European Tour (Germany, Belgium & Luxembourgh).
Stanfour has also toured with John Fogerty (Creedance Clearwater Revival) and played shows with Daughtry, One Republic and Bryan Adams. In addition to the heavy hitters they’ve performed with, Stanfour has had some powerful players in the music industry working on this project. Writers Max Martin [Pink, James Blunt], Lindy Robbins [Backstreet Boys], Jess Cates [Backstreet Boys], Ryan Tedder [Singer, OneRepublic], and Desmond Child [Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Kiss] all contributed to the album, with Randy Staub [Nickelback, Metallica] mixing the final product and Martin Hansen [The Rasmus] producing.
How Does It Feel
Stanfour Lyrics

Was building me up just to tear me down
And all of the promises broken
Are scattered like leaves falling on the ground
I gave you the best that you've ever had
You threw it away like it just didn't
Matter - now you want it back
You say you want it back
Well how does it feel
How does it taste
Swallow your own medicine
It's time you'll begin to feel pain
Fate has you now
Can't run away
Tables are turned
Now you're left with a burn
How does it feel
How does it feel
Don't try to tell me you need me
Whenever's convenient for you to say
Don't give a damn if you hurt me
If it's alright then I'll treat you the same
Every cause has reaction
But life is too short to react to
All the hell you've put me through
Time will take care of you
Well, how does it feel
How does taste
Swallow your own medicine
It's time you'll begin to feel pain
Fate has you now
Can't run away
Tables are turned
Now you're left with a burn
How does it feel
I don't want you by my side
Time to choke on all your pride
Only one thing left to say:
How does it feel
How does it taste
Swallow your own medicine
It's time you'll begin to feel pain
So, how does it feel
How does it taste
Swallow your own medicine
It's time you'll begin to feel pain
Fate has you now
Can't run away
Tables are turned
Now you're left with a burn
How does it feel
How does it feel
It's time you'll begin to feel pain
Wohohoh
Can't run away
Tables are turned
Now you're left with a burn
How does it feel
The lyrics of Stanfour's song How Does It Feel convey a sense of revenge and justice being served. The singer is fed up with the promises that were made to them and were never kept. The repetition of the line "How does it feel?" suggests that the singer is finally getting their own back and wants the other person to feel the same pain that they inflicted. The use of metaphors such as "scattered like leaves falling on the ground" signifies the end of something that was once great and is now left in ruins.
The idea of fate is also present in the lyrics, as the singer mentions that fate has the other person now and they can't run away from the consequences of their actions. The line "Time will take care of you" suggests that the singer has moved on and will not spend any more time dwelling on what the other person did. The last stanza emphasizes the satisfaction and justice that comes from seeing the other person choke on their own pride and feel the pain that they caused.
