The band got their name while in the USA. The four often got coffee at Starbucks, and in the USA, Konstantin was known as 'Stan' - and at Starbucks they write your name on the cup when you order. The waitress asked them if they were a band and suggest the name therefore.
In September 2007 Stanfour released their debut single, Do It All, which jumped in the German single charts, and reached place 46. Their second song, For All Lovers, was chosen by Sat.1 as trailer music for the TV show 'Nur die Liebe zählt' (Only Love Counts) and ran in September 2007. Their debut album 'Wild Life' came out on February 29, 2008. From April 2 to May 5, the band were the main opening act for the Backstreet Boys on their European Tour (Germany, Belgium & Luxembourgh).
Stanfour has also toured with John Fogerty (Creedance Clearwater Revival) and played shows with Daughtry, One Republic and Bryan Adams. In addition to the heavy hitters they’ve performed with, Stanfour has had some powerful players in the music industry working on this project. Writers Max Martin [Pink, James Blunt], Lindy Robbins [Backstreet Boys], Jess Cates [Backstreet Boys], Ryan Tedder [Singer, OneRepublic], and Desmond Child [Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Kiss] all contributed to the album, with Randy Staub [Nickelback, Metallica] mixing the final product and Martin Hansen [The Rasmus] producing.

It’s feeding my precious need
To find an answer to the riddle of words we left unsaid
Silence is killing me
In how many ways can you say something
When nothing is said in the end
All that you’re left with is not enough
Say, say
Am I searching for you in a shape of a remedy
Say, say
Is this how it feels when love is your enemy
You had me crawling through the sand while you were swimming in the sea
Was it my own belief
Have I been staring at a picture of different you and me
I rode on a fantasy
Walking alone always sounds so easy
So why does it rip me apart
All that you’re left with is not enough
Say, say
Am I searching for you in a shape of a remedy
Say, say
Is this how it feels when love is your enemy
Say, say
I keep on searching in the back seat
Am I searching for you in a shape of a remedy
Say, say
Is this how it feels when love is your enemy
I keep rewinding to the final scene that’s locked inside my head
It’s feeding my precious need
To find an answer to the riddle of words we left unsaid
Is this how it feels when love is your enemy
I keep on searching in the back seat
Is this how it feels when love is your enemy
Silence is killing me
Say, say
I keep on searching in the back seat
Am I searching for you in a shape of a remedy
Say, say
I keep on searching in the back seat
Is this how it feels when love is your enemy
I’m searching for you
I’m searching for you
The lyrics of Stanfour's song Love Is Your Enemy express the idea of a relationship gone wrong and the pain and frustration that come with it. The singer keeps going back to the final scene of their relationship, trying to understand what went wrong and what they could have done differently. They feel silenced and incomplete, haunted by the words left unsaid between them. The singer questions if they were searching for a remedy or a solution in the wrong places, if they were holding onto an illusion of their relationship instead of facing reality. The feeling of being left with nothing after investing so much into a relationship is especially difficult to bear, and the singer is struggling to let go.
The lyrics also suggest a sense of desperation and hopelessness, as the singer keeps searching and searching for answers, but they are not able to find closure. The symbol of the back seat also reinforces this idea: they are driving and searching for something, but they cannot seem to get anywhere. The repetition of the line "Is this how it feels when love is your enemy" further emphasizes the idea that love can be just as destructive as an enemy, and can leave a lasting scar.
Overall, the lyrics of Love Is Your Enemy convey a sense of longing, confusion, and the struggle to move on from a failed relationship.
