His first single "Le Manège" achieved success in France.

Ondine
Stanislas Lyrics

Soulevée
Sous le vent
Dans les saules saoulés
Sous ton ventre
Douce houle
Sous ta nuit
Dans la foule
Affolée
Tu dessines
À mes hanches
Des moraines
Dans mes mains d'avalanche
Des ravines et des lignes d'horizon
Tu m'as dit
Refrain :
Tu m'as dit
Aime-moi
Et marche,
Tu m'as dit
Aime-moi
Et marche, Ondine
Ondine, Ondine, Ondine
Je dérive
Dans les nasses
J'ai noyé
Les pendules
J'ai salé mon enfance
En crevant le grand large
J'ai gardé le ciré
Et l'orage
Refrain
À mes tempes
Tu ruisselles
Tu m'appelles
Dans le ventre
De mes larmes
J'ai marché
Sur le sel
De la mer
Rouge et bleue
Tu m'as dit
The lyrics of Stanislas's "Ondine" evoke a sense of being lost and drifting, both physically and emotionally. The song starts with a description of the setting - under lifted stones, in the willows, under the wind - before focusing on the singer's encounter with Ondine. The imagery used to describe the experience is sensual and natural, with Ondine depicted as a sort of elemental force. The singer seems to be overwhelmed by Ondine's presence, describing her as a "douce houle" (sweet swell) and feeling like they are drowning in her essence. Despite feeling "affolée" (overwhelmed), Ondine asks the singer to love her and walk with her.
The second verse sees the singer continue to drift aimlessly, feeling as though they have lost their bearings. They have "drowned the clocks" and "salted their childhood" by taking to sea and treading upon saltwater. Ondine continues to be a presence in the singer's life, calling out to them from their own tears.
Overall, "Ondine" seems to be a lyrical exploration of the feeling of being lost or unmoored, and the desire to find some sort of anchor, even if that anchor is another person. The language used by Stanislas is poetic and evocative, capturing the sense of displacement with vivid imagery.
