1971 November Saturday Evening Time = 20.04 till 20.13 The Golden Glowing Vehicle was measured,on the Map,to be 333,9 meters
In diameter.Totally silent.Hoovering, some 50 meters above Sea level.
We came from the south, with the Volvo.
Some kilometers before we saw it,the Radio in the Car went bezurk, and the sound was a loud sound on harmonic frequences.
Bert,Kjelldahl, the Driver and owner of the Volvo Car,we travelled with, said that we soon will see something spektacular....

Right he was,it was over 330 meters in Diameter, glowing Golden Yellow light not heat, just bright light. When we almost was through the Tunnel, later we found out,a man had got out from his House, with a Hunting Rifle, shot twice from right under this UFO.

Resulting was a bright white light, that stopped
All electric light and also the Sparkpluggs ignition, the Motor stopped,Bert put the gearbox in neutral,so the Car with 75 kilometer/hour,rolled out of the Tunnel, but the UFO could not have that kind of acceleration, without killing the Pilot and Passangers. I was 15 years in age.
There was a spectacular Ruby Red Glittering Whirling Cloud as big as a Football Arena.
Later withness said there was 5 to 6 white flashes, along the Easterly direction of this Wessel. There was a Dark Blue NATO-star farther along, and as it imploded,so did the swirling ruby red glowing cloud.
Then all was Dark. 20.13 the clock was.

I hadn't been back from Vietnam very long when this movie came out. A bunch of us guys went to watch it in the middle of the afternoon at a local theatre. Near the very end, I found found myself sobbing from emotions felt about all my brothers and sisters who never came back. To this day, whenever I hear this, the tears just begin to flow. The pain has never left......

I was in the Mekong Delta and can not even see any film about Vietnam in a theater. I heard this music, from the next room, when my kids had it on TV. I liked the music, and listen to the music, but, to save my sanity, I do not watch any thing about the Vietnam war. So maybe do not ever see any movie in a movie theater, where you cannot get out, for a break. Maybe on the small screen TV, so you are in control, and can stop it. We could not stop the war, but we can stop the movie.

Yes the Pain never leaves!

Was it good for you our Black Thursday with our Soviet MIGs? )))

@@williamheyman5439 What did you forget there, Johnny? If it was your Homeland?

@williamheyman5439

@@ericyanikov My grandmother was Russian. She said she was lucky to leave before WWI. But she married a German, so not very good for those days. For some reason she did not want to go back.

The Deer Hunter affected me more than any motion picture I have ever seen. And this beautiful, incredibly sad theme will live in my heart forever. The evening that I saw the film at the theater , once the ending credits and music stopped and the curtains closed, the entire audience sat in complete silence for several minutes. Unforgettable.

The audience at the movie theatre did the same when I saw it 45 years ago, a emotional powerhouse then and now.

私も同じ気持ちです。
高校生の時に観ました。
観終わった時に、座席から立てませんでした。

今年、60歳になりますが、私の人生に重石をしてくれる一本の映画です。

I just love this tune. I'm 54 and i first heard it when i was a child whilst watching The Deer Hunter. What a film. What performances. What a musical soundtrack. Just love everything about this song and film. Bravo.
