The song “Faded” by Stansbury is a sad and powerful ballad about losing someone you love, and feeling lost and alone as a result. The opening lines of the song set the tone for the rest of the song, as Stansbury addresses the person he lost and reflects upon how they used to be “the shadow” to his “light”. He asks them if they felt the connection they once shared, and how they faded away like another star in the night sky. He’s afraid that their aim, their relationship, is now out of sight, and he wants to bring them back together.
The chorus of the song is a heartfelt plea for wherever this person may be now. This song proves that rock / metal music and piano / orchestral songs have so much more soul in them and sound so much better even when made covers of other songs. This song is amazing but this rock version brings it to its full potential. Bravo!

Been through so many metal/rock covers of this song and I always return to this one, as this have both great vocal cover and some selfbuild extra towards making the song YOURS...
Would've loved a sligthly more intense solo, but it is still very VERY compared :) The heavy drums are spot on, the vocals are greatly balanced and the guitar, does it jobs of being a back up to empower the other, rather than taking over...
