Star Industry Lyrics

Switch on the light
Reflections, from the past behind
Spirit, keep my soul awake
From the dust clouds
Behind the gates of rage
Ceremonial
Ceremonial
Don't let me fall through
Fall into sleep
Sinking deeper again
Like quicksand, without an end
Bright lights coming my way
I see the saints down by the gate
Ceremonial
Last day to call me
Ceremonial
Don't let me fall through
Fall into sleep
And I wake up, and I wake up
And I wake up for you to come
And I wake up, and I wake up
And I wake up for you to come
Ceremonial
And I wake up for you to come
Ceremonial
Switch on
Switch on the lights so bright
I see the saints open the gates
The lyrics of Star Industry's song "Ceremonial" convey a sense of urgency and desperation, as the singer asks for spiritual guidance from the past and seeks to stay alert and awake. The opening lines, "Switch on, switch on the light / Reflections, from the past behind," suggest a need to awaken the mind and confront the shadows of the past. The reference to "dust clouds / behind the gates of rage" evokes a sense of danger and hostility lurking beneath the surface, which the singer wants to overcome.
The chorus repeats the word "ceremonial," which may suggest the need for ritual or ceremony to overcome or transcend this state of mind. The line, "Last day to call me / Ceremonial," implies a sense of finality or urgency, as if the singer is running out of time or options. The follow-up line, "Don't let me fall through / Fall into sleep," reinforces the notion of vigilance and the fear of slipping into a state of unconsciousness or oblivion.
The second verse continues the theme of sinking and struggling to stay afloat, as the singer compares their situation to "quicksand, without an end." However, there is a glimmer of hope in the "bright lights" that are "coming my way," and the sight of "the saints down by the gate" suggests a possibility of salvation or rescue.
Overall, the lyrics of "Ceremonial" convey a sense of existential struggle and spiritual quest, as the singer seeks to stay alert and overcome the forces of darkness and unconsciousness.

Are these guys huge in Europe but not US? I sometimes think I'm their only American fan. Been listening since 2000.
