Celebrate
Holiday
Celebrate
If we took a holiday
Took some time to celebrate
Just one day out of life
Everybody spread the word
We're gonna have a celebration
All across the world
In every nation
It's time for the good times
Forget about the bad times, oh yeah
One day to come together to release the pressure
We need a holiday
If we took a holiday
Took some time to celebrate (come on, let's celebrate)
Just one day out of life (holiday)
It would be, it would be so nice
You can turn this world around
And bring back all of those happy days
Put your troubles down
It's time to celebrate
Let love shine
And we will find
A way to come together, we can make things better
We need a holiday
If we took a holiday (holiday)
Took some time to celebrate (celebrate)
Just one day out of life (just one day)
It would be, it would be so nice
Holiday
Celebrate
Holiday
Celebrate
If we took a holiday (oh yeah, oh yeah)
Took some time to celebrate (come on, let's celebrate)
Just one day out of life (holiday)
It would be, it would be so nice
Holiday (ooh yeah, ooh yeah)
Celebrate (come on, let's celebrate)
Holiday (just one day out of life)
Celebrate
The lyrics of Madonna's song "Holiday" are an invitation to celebrate life and let go of the pressures and problems of everyday life just for one day. Madonna suggests that taking a holiday, even for just one day, would be a great way for everyone to come together and find a way to make things better. She expresses the idea that we need to forget about the bad times and focus on the good times.
The word 'holiday' has been used as a metaphor for coming together as a community to celebrate life. Madonna encourages the listener to spread the word of this celebration and make it a global event. The message of coming together to forget the bad times and celebrate the good times is an important one that still resonates today.
Stardust's song "Music Sounds Better with You" samples a guitar riff from a Chaka Khan song "Fate". The song heavily features French spoken word by Benjamin Diamond, which gives it a unique flavor. The lyrics to the song are simple and repetitive, focusing more on the infectious groove that makes the listener move to the beat. With its upbeat tempo and feel-good melody, the song became an instant dance classic when it was released in the late 90s.

I seen this live in 1998 at a rave in dolton Illinois. This is Thomas bangalter spinning holiday, music sounds better with you, and bucket heads bomb ( instrumental ) in the background. I was 5 feet from him when he did this. 3 tracks simultaneously on vinyl, that's why it sounds a little off
@spawnof200
came across this earlier today and was wondering where it was from, of course it was thomas bangaltear
@rojammarshalles647
Dude, that was a great party but this is an actual vinyl record. The Bob Sinclair is on the flip side. White label.
@philipkaulfuss2098
Nope! This version was done by Stuntmasterz, who basically added the Madonna samples to an earlier bootleg remix, Spacedust - Music Feels Good With You, which made use of the drum loop from The Bomb. Daft Punk did indeed play this in their live sets.

@@philipkaulfuss2098 Yep... Fall of 98, it was all over London...

I only came across due to another channel talking about it. But gotta say, this is a gem! I was teenage lad when "music sounds better with you" was released. I can only imagine how amazing this would of been to see this dropped by Thomas back in the golden era
@SambaSunnySideUp
may this never leave YouTube regardless of the quality
