The 400
Stars Lyrics

Mas eu 'to aqui nesse motel, outra vez infiel

Mas eu 'to aqui nesse motel, outra vez infiel

Viver sem censura, 'cê surta enquanto essas louca me atura

'Tá no meu DNA 'cê nunca iria entender yeah

Mas eu 'to aqui nesse motel, outra vez infiel

Mas eu 'to aqui nesse motel, outra vez infiel

Mas eu 'to aqui nesse motel, outra vez infiel

Mas eu 'to aqui nesse motel, outra vez infiel

Overall Meaning

The lyrics in Stars' song The 400 tell the story of a person traveling by airplane to see someone they haven't seen in a while. The singer's hope and longing for the visit to go well is evident in the repetition of the phrase "It has to go right this time." The singer is also clearly anxious in the anticipation of the visit, as they describe turning on the heat early to ensure the house is warm when they arrive.

The second verse of the song contributes an added element of nostalgia and uncertainty. The singer describes the town where the person they're visiting lives as surrounding "another town we live beside," suggesting that the singer used to know the area well, but has since lost familiarity with it. The highway exits change at random and the roads divide, a possible metaphor for the challenges the singer may face in reconnecting with someone they once knew well. Despite this uncertainty, however, the singer remains hopeful that their visit will be successful.

Overall, The 400 is a song that captures the emotion of a person traversing physical and emotional distances to reconnect with someone from their past. The repetition of the phrase "It has to go right this time" serves as a powerful reminder of the singer's hope and optimism for the future.

This song to me is about how one person leaves there loved one behind because it was not going well the first time so the guy or gal  saying it has to go right this time is coming back to them again. Kinda like a second chance.

The Cover Pic is the Safdie built dormitory homes called Habitat 67 built for the Expo 67 held in Montreal. It is one of a few buildings built that stayed populated from creation through to today. Most were eventually allowed to fall down by natural means others were eventually bought by other enterprises and made into Casinos and other entertainment facilitles. Hollywood had a rush of film and Television projects that used the abandoned Expo buildings as SciFi backdrops and scenery for their producions, most famously the Paul Newman Ice Age film Quintet and the later episodes of Battlestar Galactica.
