And there's more heroes to be found
There's something major going down
On Tracy island
(Island)
Weapons underground
Keeping the planet safe and sound
They should be frightened
(Frightened)
'Cause now the boys are back in town
No strings to hold them down, down
Don't be mad, please, stop the hating
Just be glad that they'll be waiting
Friends we have are ever-changing
No, now the lid's about to blow
When the Thunderbirds are go
Kids are learning fast
They know the T-birds kick some ass
Be sure that there's no coming last
If you're on their side
(Their side)
It always looks so cool
When space-ships come out of the pool
You know that you'd just be a fool
To be a bad guy
(Bad guy)
'Cause now the boys are back in town
No strings to hold them down, down
Don't be mad, please, stop the hating
Just be glad that they'll be waiting
Friends we have are ever-changing
No, now the lid's about to blow
When the Thunderbirds are go
Thunderbirds are go
Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go
Don't be mad, please, stop the hating
Just be glad that they'll be waiting
Friends we have are ever-changing
No, now the lid's about to blow
When the Thunderbirds are go
(Thunderbirds are go)
Thunderbirds are go
(Thunderbirds are go)
Thunderbirds are go
(Thunderbirds are go)
Thunderbirds are
Thunderbirds are
Thunderbirds are go
The lyrics to Starshooter's song "Betsy Party" are a fun and upbeat ode to the classic TV show Thunderbirds. The song begins with the singer describing spring break and how there are "more heroes to be found." This sets the tone for the rest of the song, which is all about the Thunderbirds team and their adventures on Tracy Island.
There are a couple of different themes in the song. One is the idea of heroes and villains, with the Thunderbirds being the ultimate heroes who keep the planet safe from evil forces. The lyrics suggest that anyone who is "coming round" should be "frightened" because the Thunderbirds will be ready to take them on. Another theme is the idea of friendship and changing relationships. The singer mentions that friends are ever-changing, but that everyone can be glad the Thunderbirds will always be waiting.
Throughout the song, there are references to some of the most memorable parts of the Thunderbirds show. The singer mentions the "weapons underground" on Tracy Island, as well as the "space-ships" that come out of the pool. The lyrics also talk about how "cool" it looks when the Thunderbirds team is in action, and how anyone who opposes them is just a "bad guy."
Overall, "Betsy Party" is a catchy and nostalgic tribute to Thunderbirds and its iconic characters. It celebrates the triumph of heroes over villains, the thrill of adventure, and the loyalty of friends.
