Starz released a few albums: Starz, Violation, Attention Shoppers! , Coliseum Rock, Requiem.
Their first two LP's were produced by Jack Douglas, who had just had amazing success with Aerosmith. By their third album, Attention Shoppers, their sound had shifted from heavy metal to pop tunes, with a few exceptions, one being the epic "Johnny All Alone." By the time of Coliseum Rock, it seemed their earlier departure from heavy rock to pop had cost them the majority of their audience. They re-released Live: Agora (Live) in 2021.

For all those who bought albums because you liked the cover it came in I say bravo ! I have been doing that for 50 years and it never ceases to amaze me at what lies between the grooves, as in life sometimes you have to roll the dice and take a chance , and more often than not you'll be pleasantly surprised ...Rock On !

Listen to this song, and try to think of the bass drum as the killer's heartbeat, especially toward the end. It's a very exciting song as it is, but that really puts it over the top.
Great music, a great arrangement that builds tension, and just keeps on building, and fantastic lyrics that hold your interest.
And those vocals by Michael Lee Smith just nail it. The vocals are menacing, as is the music and that killer guitar solo, I'm guessing by Richie Ranno. Wow!
Possibly the best hard rock song ever written, and performed flawlessly.
Starz had this songwriting thing down. All their stuff was fantastically well-done. They could have kept on going if only the world had given them a chance.
