The lyrics to Stef Bos's "Mamira Fenna" are in the Papiamentu language, spoken in the Dutch Caribbean. The first verse describes someone who is walking and carrying something on their back. They are in pain, perhaps carrying a heavy load. The second verse mentions "Mamira Fenna," which may be a person's name or a place, and repeats the phrase "Kamira itella." This phrase could mean "come here, tell me" or "come here, hear me." The third verse mentions various things: "insemira codolo" could mean "stomach ache," "insemira sanola" could mean "headache," and so on. The final chorus repeats the name or place "Mamira Fenna" along with "Kamira itella."
The lyrics are somewhat cryptic and open to interpretation, but the theme of suffering and the desire to be heard or seen seems to be present. The person carrying the heavy load in the first verse could represent someone who feels burdened by life or their circumstances. The repeated call to "Kamira itella" could be a cry for help or acknowledgement. The final verse's mention of various ailments could represent different types of suffering, both physical and emotional.
