Let's Take a Walk
Stefan Andersson Lyrics

You lay twisted in your sheets
Crying and calling
My name in your sleep
I heard you talking
About the things
I know you hide inside
Now you don't wanna talk about it
Let's take a walk out in the rain
Let it wash away your pain
Don't you worry about tomorrow
Let's take a walk out in the rain
Tessie you can't hide away
So let it out unloose those chains
Let me know about your sorrow
Let's take a walk out in the rain
Anything that I can do
Anything to get you through
To keep your mind set on tomorrow
Let's take a walk out in the rain
We started walking
In the early morning light
I held your hand
As I wiped away
Those tears of memories
From your beautiful eyes
Just like paradise
Now if I can, I'll make you understand
It isn't worth paying the price
The lyrics to Stefan Andersson's song "Let's Take a Walk" speak of a painful revelation that the singer has discovered about their partner. Upon waking up in the morning, the singer notes that their partner is crying and talking in their sleep about things that they normally keep hidden. However, when the singer tries to talk to their partner about it, they are met with resistance and deflection. In an attempt to help their partner, the singer suggests taking a walk in the rain to wash away their pain and sorrow. Despite initial reluctance from their partner, they eventually agree to the walk and the singer provides comfort and support throughout the journey. The song ends with the singer promising to help their partner move forward and leave behind the pain of the past.
The lyrics of "Let's Take a Walk" showcase the importance of facing one's emotions and seeking support when needed. The singer recognizes that their partner is struggling with hidden emotions and encourages them to open up and seek help. The walk in the rain is a symbolic gesture of cleansing and renewal, representing the possibility of moving on from past pain. The singer's willingness to hold their partner's hand and listen to their sorrow also highlights the importance of empathy and compassion in relationships.

This artist is wonderful. I know he got compared a lot to Bryan Adams because of his similar vocals but he is far superior as a songwriter. Check out the American artist John Kilzer, Stefan Andersson is quite similar to him in vocals and songwriting.
