Her mother was a writer in the Christian music industry in Nashville and Steffany spent a lot of time around incredible songwriters and vocalists.

Steffany first came to Bethel Church in 2008 to attend Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) where she served as a powerful worship leader whose abandonment freely before the Father was evident. When she worships, she does not seek to gain something for herself or even to move the hearts of God’s people; her worship is for God alone.

Steffany carries a unique prophetic voice and pursues the Lord with passion, childlike faith, and confidence in His nearness. She is a part of the Bethel Music family and is featured on their recent releases, For the Sake of the World, The Loft Sessions, and Be Lifted High. Steffany currently travels and ministers in the US as well as internationally.

As a child my dad would abuse me and my mother very badly. This abusue lead me down a terrible path of homosexuality, anger, jealousy. But the love Of Jesus had saved me from alll of this. When i listened to this song all i saw my older self fade away and me as a child crying like how i would when my dad would beat my mom, and then i saw Jesus grab my hand as a little child and started dance with me as a child. I felt so comforted and warm, to know Jesus still cares about that little boy who went through all of that, that he remembers it all and he knows how painful it was. His love comes and washes away all the pain of those memories. His love is greater than anything that has and will ever happen to us. His love knows no ends, it can heal any broken heart. (:

That's wonderful, but also illustrates my problem with this song, it is too vague is she talking about God or is she talking about a significant other. Listening to the lyrics alone that is not clear I'm inclined to believe that this is about God because of the source the song came from, but I do not know this for a fact. So my father was incredibly abusive and scary and I was always afraid of him. I never felt like I was safe with him or that I really had a father. I would volunteer for father/daughter balls and just weep when I saw so much love in a father's eyes for his daughter; it was beautiful. Then I went to a conference in Kansas City and a woman I had never met told me "God wants you to know He's your Father. He will never forsake you. I just see you and Him dancing like a father/daughter dance, His arms around you keeping you safe." and I just wept! God's love as my Abba Father leaves me a breathless mess. :) And I heard this song and just...I can't even handle His goodness. in a season such as this I know God was thinking, "My sweet girl, this song is for you." This song is so moving, just a quick testimony, I'm partially paralyzed on the Right side of body, due to a car accident. I had a moment completely unrelated to this song, but when I was praying one night and I actually heard God's voice. I had been praying for about an hour or so, but when he said my name I was so scared. It was his voice, the voice that knew me inside and out, the voice that created me. So, I instantly stopped praying and covered my ears. Hey Matt, my experience with God was not like that, but i have a had a couple of experiences with God when i felt almost scared. Once, i was praying, right. Then, because as usual i was praying with my sister, i suddenly felt the presence of God. Like he was in the room, right next to me. At that moment i didn't know how to react, my hands were burning and my face was burning with some soft, love, fire. Although, it was like a peaceful kind of burn. (Hard to explain) At first, i had to admit. I was actually terrified. Because this was my first time experiencing his love, with understanding. But as i just let go and know that i am safe and that he is trying to show his love for me, i just allowed it to happen. if i'm being brutally honest, in your case don't be upset that you were scared, because he is God, (Imagine, the God who created everything is trying to talk to you, like yes you.) And we're just a little human being. Don't be afraid, he only wants to talk to you, to be close to you. And, sometimes i do get scared when my sister says stuff like "he just walked into the room, i can feel it" "He's standing right next to you, he's smiling" Kind of thing.. But, then again i tell myself that there is nothing to be afraid of. Because, at the end of the day (I assume you're young) We're both young and we have a long journey ahead of us, this is only the beginning! :) (If you're not, i am really sorry haha) God bless!

This song was played at my friend's memorial service this past weekend. The group who performed the dance used to dance with her at a Christian Dance Center. While they were out in the aisles dancing to this song, the tv screens were playing old clips of her praise dancing. It reminds me so much of her love for God and my heart is at peace in her passing. Few years back , I had a dream someone tying a rope on my neck trying to choke me . The dream was so really I woke up with this terrible fear I have never felt in my life . The day went by as I was trying to pray for the fear to go & meditate on verses which talk about fear . Later in the day I set down , I actually started to have panic attack & this song started to play . I had a vision of the Lord coming towards me one thing that caught my eyes He was wearing a very nice tuxedo & I said Lord you're wearing a tuxedo , I was surprised but He just gave me His hand & I started to dance with Him , the moment the song stopped , I was in so much peace & the fear & panic attack gone .

I've been dancing since I was 6 years old. I'm 19 years old now. I'm at a dance studio named King David Christian Conservatory. Last week, after much prayer from me and my parents, God told me I'm done dancing. I cried. I cried and cried and mourned the loss of my love that kept me going through the toughest times of my life. This song is the last I danced to at the recital last June. Even if I'm done dancing, even when I hang up my pointe shoes and put away the hip hop clothes and jazz pants, I'm still a dancer. Leah, I too am a dancer that just finished my last performance in May. Dance has carried me through some of my toughest times as well and it is very hard to give up something that you love so dearly. I know that God gave you your dancing talent just as He has given me mine and I know He wants us to use it for more than just the stage. Dance through your life with Jesus next to you. I instantly fell in love with this song because it made me realize something. When I first heard this song GOD started putting faces, names, and children in my heart. These were faces of mothers and fathers that have lost their children. He asked me to share this song with them and some GOD game me a message to share with. Some of these people were STRANGERS...some I knew personally. This was VERY hard for me to do. I have never lost a child and I had fear of resurfacing emotions to these families. I feared the emotions I would feel had this ever did happen to happen to me. Gosh it hurt really bad bc I felt for just a brief moment their suffering. Like a broken record I couldn't stop pressing replay on this video. I'd click it and each face would appear to me, their face, and the child that they lost. Some lost their children as an infant but I saw them as they appear in heaven. I was obedient (and let me say I question GOD... I BEGGED him to not have me do this...WHY GOD? WHY are you choosing me to do this? Trust me and I WILL be faithful to you he said. I felt Jesus touch my right shoulder...I turn around with his hand extending towards me to pull me out of the water. Without hesitation I took ahold of his hand and WE DANCED! I was jumping around like a child with so much joy and he laughed and played with me just like a father would until I fell in the meadow and looked up towards him and locked eyes with his beautiful face and I said to him..."Thank you, that was cool GOD." I had perfect peace.

A beautiful Sister in Messiah sent me this song and it reminded me of April 2014: I was in the shower, I had classical music playing in the background and suddenly I had a vision of dancing a waltz. At that moment I was being twirled and as I faced the man dancing with me I realized HE was Messiah, it was more of a recognizable feeling. HE smiled at me and the feelings of safety and love were overwhelming, it was so strong the wind was knocked out of me emanating from my stomach and immediately incredible tears of joy began to flow as I realized how much HE loved me. It was a surreal experience. One that I will never forget. It sure put a spring to my step for weeks. When I am down and struggle with my faith or feel/see the wickedness in this world, I often think of that moment and remember, HE has risen and I will soon be home! HalleluYaH and Maranantha!

This was one of my brother Darren’s favourite songs, sadly we lost him in February due to mental health problems we played this song at his funeral the words really relate to Darren and I can say I’m so happy he did find love something he searched for for along time ❤️❤️

My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great. 🙌🙌🙏🙏

The second time I ever had an encounter with Jesus I was listening to this song driving down the road while at work, it was like a projector turned on in front of me and my body went into auto pilot so as so continue driving. Jesus stepped out onto a dance floor from the “left” and began dancing the most beautiful display of ballet I’d ever seen. I began weeping just from the sight of the movements. I then stepped out and joined him and we danced together. Never once violating my sense of masculinity in the most beautiful display of feminine love. A spiritual mystery of the heart not easily understood by the mind, only comprehended by the heart through the eyes. The Fathers love song to his Bride.

Let me share my story:
My 8th grade year i was part of a Christian club which was amazing and I started to build a relationship with God but once I got into my freshman year of high school I lost myself. I lost who I was and it was horrible. I hung out with kids who did drugs, drank, and had sex. I felt left out I wanted to have sex and drink so I could fit in. I never did thou. I got baptized July 2015. Which was the wrong time. My sophomore year came around and I was back into the Christian club and was a leader of the club. I was helping people I was getting through the hard times but what no one knew, I was struggling to keep myself up on my feet. I lost my great grandmother in October 2015 and my best friend (my great grandfather) December 2015. I then moved 4 months later to Idaho from California. I've lost complete faith in God. I didn't like how he moved me 1700+ miles away from my hometown. I had no friends and I sat alone by myself for at least for two weeks. I finally found a church and we went on a trip. And that's when I got saved. I was standing up by the stage and I just collapsed onto the ground and started crying and God said "I'm here, I never left you." Later that night a pastor was speaking and had said "If anyone out there that is broken, hurt, and needs healing please come to the front" I had no control over my body and jumped up and ran to the front. I was the only one but I got saved

I can't relate to the moving part or the loss of family members (sorry for your loss), but everything else I can. I used to go to church with my grandmother and even got baptized when I was little but as I got older around 7th and 8th grade, I let the people around me define my identity. It wasn't until I went to the church I go to now and I experienced God in 2016. That day I was also the only one that went up for altar call It's a constant battle maintaining that relationship, but stay strong, fight the good fight of faith!

I want dialog with him. people have visions, I have hopes. people hear his voice I hear him to, i just can't dicifer. I just wish maybe a little more clear dialog. I love him. pray for me. I'm homeschooled. maybe I need to stop defining my self by other peeps lives. like oh she listens to secular music, why can't I? i listen to seclear music. do I just have a greater purpose, and I'm not pursuing it, or is God just silent. am I stubborn. my life seems the same. although there is a more good happy audit in my life now. I lately excepted the Holly Spirt... now what? every body knows me in the church. because I'm always going to the alter. I get emotional when I sing for God. and I think most of them think I'm rude. I'm just confused. please help our pray for me. I came to the conclusion tonight that. I won't ever give up on God, and the devil knows that. he's trying to make me think that God will reject me in the end - that God will leave, but he won't. I've got to know that. THANK YOU JESUS FOR THAT MESSAGE TO MY EARS AND MIND. He won't ever leave me I've got to know that. should I rededicate my life tomorrow? Even if I hear the voice again?

Jesus died because He loved us; because He cared for us so deeply that not even death could dissuade Him from saving us so that we could be with Him. So, in life, when you're trying to fight for love, don't pick up the sword, lay it down, because love has overcome lovelessness and hopelessness. Never feel unloved, because, if you know Jesus, and even if you don't, He is love. Love is an extension of Him, that's why we can't understand it or comprehend it. One day, true love will find us all, and that will be our Father's doing, not our own. Look to Jesus to love you because He'll never stop. He's there with arms open wide waiting for you to run to him so he can hold you.

My puppy is dying fron TCC, BLADDER CANCER... When he was a baby I would hold him in my arms and dance with him, he would quiet right down. As the years went on we continued to "dance because he enjoyed the closeness and it calmed him down. At 9 yrs old we found out he had cancer...then I heard this song..it is what we dance to everyday since. He is within weeks of the end of his life,yet he still wants to dance, especially when he hears tis song. It is our song..and we dance, just him and me...

So… I got a testimony too ❤️ ya see, God just is there in every detail of our life. With that, It’s 12:16 AM. I’m in my room, my family is in their rooms and before this I was crying, because my eyes were opened to notice that I would fight for the love of many of my relationships, even the closest ones. Just wanting to not lose them, that they stay, that they pay attention and listen to me… man!
There is a part in the song that says something like “I was taught I had to pick up my sword and fight for love, little did I know that love had won for me” And I decided to listen to the song. (Even If I have to wake up early tomorrow, It will be all right!) And I read some of the testimonies and got all teary eyed and decided to get up and dance like the people in the comments said they did. And Jesus held me so tight and dear, he said the attention was only on me, and we swayed and he twirled me! ❤️

I love this song so much. I recently lost someone who died in a lonely and cold way. His death was so tragic. I am still mourning. Every time I read the lyrics of this song. I feel peace knowing we have a Lord to lean, depend on, and trust. My friend lived a ungodly life filled with darkness. He just couldn't find a way out, and he is not with us. I believe he is merciful. I believe he is w God dancing. I love how the Lord can bring joy in a time of mourning. I love God more , yes I have so many questions unanswered.
