Jeez, to think I actually once liked Yandere Sim (the game mostly. As a writer, the premise intrigued a lot of plot bunnies).
The idea that in his ideal world, my little sisters could go out and get licenses and then be manipulated by adults into having sex despite the physical harm that would happen to their insides infuriates me beyond belief.
Though, technically speaking for any minors concerned about their relationships (despite the idea of any teen getting it on making me physically ill because of the high teen pregnancy rate in my state -_-), there are the Romeo and Juliet laws.

It depends state by state, and they are mostly in place to protect 18 year olds dating 17 year olds and similar situations. I'm not defending him at all, but I just want to provide this information for any young people freaking out. If you're unsure as to whether or not dating and having any kind of sexual or promiscuous encounters with a fellow minor who is a year or so younger than you is illegal, check out the laws in your state.

To start with, the fact that he’s so upset, and even goes so far as to try to convince us (the readers) that pedophilia is even remotely excusable is absurd. And one thing I’d like to point out, is that this almost sounds like he’s trying to even convince *himself*.

No. It’s not ok. Not even in a game. That’s why there are laws, warnings, and even ratings. The game was apparently meant for ages 16+, too. I’m not sure how accurate that statement is, given that it was secondhand information, but this is child porn, and the practice of it. This condones the nature as acceptable in a fantasy level, but it also give rise to different ways pedophiles can let their obsessions grow.
Another thing I would like to mention, is that Kokona very clearly gives more than vague implications of having sexual relations outside of school.

But yes, by all means, let’s make it alright because they are ageless, even though he clearly puts them in a very compromising timeline. A timeline where between the ages of 14-18, young adults are hitting puberty. A time where they act on instinct. A time where a lot of pedophiles eagerly wait to watch girls in mini skirts shuffle home.

I don’t think I need to explain more. What he’s saying and doing contradicts everything, and he’s digging himself a deeper hole.

No, its something people should just be locked away for, for life, I dont care if theres a chance you could change them or even "cure" them, theres also a chance they go back to their ways and do something so vile that people will never forget it, if someone admits they are a pedo, and they want help for it, then I'd consider helping them, but if someone is a pedo and they hide the fact or try to normalize it, they should be locked up.
