Lyrics ツ
Walk by ya in the path of righteousness
I walk higher, toss liars
In the pit of hell, caught in the crossfire
Caught fire, from the big guns, these is not revolvers
Violence only creates confusion, it ain't a problem solver
Let's go, my skin is my dress code
Just know, I need a personal Jesus
I’m in Depeche Mode
The best show is when the bullets hit the flesh slow
This ain't a movie, dog, you know it when your chest explodes
I’d trade my luck to know
Why he's caught in the crossfire
And now I’m here wakin' up
To the sun and the sound of birds
Society’s anxiety
Deprived of all that we’re blessed with
We just can't get enough, no

99 Problems, Sean Michael Carter
Can find ayala trying to fix my life like Evelyn Lazana
Night marauders, 12 hour cigars like godfathers
Starving artist trying to get some cut like the hardest barbers
Gun culture, what I talk is dead coming from vultures
I promise I didn’t choose to be a martyr, my enemies' focus
My heart seems to be the target if you ain't notice
These guns are still our youth, its stolen moments
I’d trade my luck to know
Why he's caught in the crossfire
And now I’m here wakin' up
To the sun and the sound of birds
Society’s anxiety
Deprived of all that we’re blessed with
We just can't get enough, no

xiggasaur.
This music video is actually amazing. A very good representation of the divisions within society, how they are pushed to the outskirts (or in this case in their own glass box) from the 'supposed' norm (represented by the crowd of all the same type of people). And it shows all of this being broken down from the innocence and purity of children, a reminder that we are all humans.

No one even understands the real representation. Look at the cop, listen to the lyrics. The cop has his hand on the gun. The girl is a muslim. The rapper is black. Its about segregation. "My skin Is my dress code." "violience only created confusion." The black lives mater riots.
xiggasaur.
Division within society being pushed to the outskirts = segregation.. (not sure if you were agreeing with me or if you were saying that what I said was wrong).

I was agreeing

Apeiron
I am so impressed by this concept. (Video and song)
Crossfire (The Original) is probably one of my favorite songs, but this one is taking it on another level.
It's different, yet equally good - love it.
The punisher
This is 2020. This song is not dead. The more I listen the more I found humanity.
