Sunset drive
That'll be a good time
Bourbon on ice
Pay no mind
It's gonna a (rude???) night
With blue eyes
Walk back
And says to me
My ride is outside
My place is near by
If you wanna leave
Babe if you want this
I should let you know
I'm looking for so much more
And I promise if I take you home
I can't say I'll hold you tomorrow
Cause tomorrow I still won't know you
Babe if you want this, you should let me go
Baby just let me go
Forty-four flights
New high rise
Girls got the good life
(Damn)
Look at her eyes
Telling me why
It's gonna be a long night
She pulls inside
Turns off the lights
And says to me
I'm not your type
But just for tonight
We can make believe
Babe if you want this
I should let you know
I'm looking for so much more
And I promise if I take you home
I can't say I'll hold you tomorrow
Cause tomorrow I still won't know you
Babe if you want this, you should let me go
Baby just let me go
In the lyrics of Stephen's song Line It Up, the singer describes two separate encounters with women that he meets. In the first encounter, he meets a woman who pulls him aside and invites him to leave with her. However, she then tells him that if he chooses to go with her, she isn't looking for anything serious and is not interested in a long-term commitment. The second encounter is with a woman in a high-rise building who is living a luxurious lifestyle. She too invites him inside and tells him that while she knows he's not her typical type, they can pretend for one night.
Overall, the song explores the themes of fleeting connections and temporary pleasures, where both parties are aware it probably won't lead to anything more significant. The singer weighs his options and tells the women that if they are looking for something substantial or long-lasting, then they should let him go.

Seven O Five, (7:05 pm probably)
Sunset drive.
That'll be a good time.
Bourbon on ice,
Pay it no mind.
It's gonna be a rude night.
Ooh.
These blue eyes, walk by.
She pulls me, aside.
And says to me:
'My ride, is outside.
My place is, nearby.
Do you wanna leave?'
I said:
'Babe if you want this,
I should let you know.
I'm looking for so much more.
And I promise, if I take you home,
I can't say,
I'll hold you tomorrow.
'Cause tomorrow,
I still won't know you.
Babe if you want this,
You should let me go,
Baby just let me go.'
And she lined it up,
Lined it up.
And she lined it up.
Baby just let me go.
And she lined it up,
Lined it up.
And she lined it up.
Twenty-four flights,
New high-rise,
Girl's got the good life.
Damn.
The look in her eyes,
Is telling me why,
Ít's gonna be a long night.
She pulls me, inside.
Turns off, the lights.
And says to me:
'I'm not, your type.
But just for, tonight,
We can make believe.'
I said:
'Babe if you want this,
I should let you know.
I'm looking for so much more.
And I promise, if I take you home.
I can't say,
I'll hold you tomorrow.
'Cause tomorrow,
I still won't know you.
Babe if you want this,
You should let me go.
Baby just let me go.
And she lined it up,
Lined it up.
And she lined it up.
Baby just let me go.
And she lined it up,
Lined it up.
And she lined it up.

This is one of my favorites on the album. The upbeat energy with the funky bass and vocal falsettos is so satisfying to listen to, really gets you on your feet. I love how the lyrics of each song talk about such a multitude of topics instead of just love or peace like a lot of electronica nowadays.
@11Laurens11
Completely agree. Basically sums up why stephens songs are so consistently better than comparable songs (hard to find though because such an unique style).
@BatmanHQYT
11Laurens11 indeed
@jorgep7747
I can definitely see this on a car commercial or something like that, I'm just gonna sit here and listen quietly till one of your songs goes into the mainstream and everyone loves tou
