I was raised and lived in Syria (Middle East) in the 90s when I learnt about Pac. Internet was non-existent back then and I learnt about Pac from Satellite TV channels but that's all that it took to get me hooked. Pac was the one who stood out. My whole interpretation and approach to music changed when I heard Pac. He made me start listening to lyrics and not just take music as simply a tune to dance to. I used to buy tapes and then get a pen and paper listening to my fav Pac songs and rewinding 10000s of times just to write down the lyrics.
Again, I was in Syria and had no idea about black struggle, racism and all the shit Pac spoke about BUT only he made me motivated to learn and understand more. His passion, his lyrics, music was something out of this world. It was so out of this world that it made a kid in Syria who knew nothing about Pac, rap or black struggle get educated and inspired and fall in love with gangsta rap music.
I'm 38 now and I listen to Pac on a regular basis and I can't believe he was only 25 when he died because I appreciate and respect his music much more now than I did before.
I want to thank all the DJs who kept Pac's name alive. You definitely did serverhim justice and you are worth way more than all those fake ass rappers nowadays. You know Pac is everlasting when you can put his rhythm and lyrics in a dope beat at any time in life.

Pac rapped on an emotional level and every mothufucka on the face of the planet felt it at at a time when there was no internet or Tik Tok or any of that shit and people across the globe fell in love with him. And that's why you have DJs using Pac in their music because they know he can be the soul of a song. This is something precious and invaluable.
There's rap music then there's PAC Music

RIP Pac

Thank you to all the DJs for keeping his name alive

A "Rapper. Actor. Activist. Thug. Poet. Rebel. Visionary." He had fame for only six years but sold over 75 million records worldwide. What a legend!!!

@carter3369

713 songs, 7 movies all by the age of 25. Legend.

@The-Great-Brindian

Yet to be replicated, imagine if he did it in this digital age??

records would be SET and i'd wager no artist would be able to come close to breaking them or even remotely challenging them!

No disrespect to Biggie fans but in this age, PAc would have KILLED IT.

the world relates to his messages, his lyrics today more than ever!
