Just want you to know that as a resultbof watching your channel I have learned quite a few valuable insights from maintenance to common sense. The catamaran comparison was excellent ss you gave us a wealth of things to look for and be aware of. Now when I look at a cat I'm looking at ventilation, helm position, lifeboat position, flush mounted hatches, these ard the things you find out that you dont like all too often, after the purchase. I am so looking forward to the RR II Edition Cat because I know it will be worth the money, not over priced and well outfitted. Kudos to you, thanks for your contributions to the sport and especially to the Cruising aspect. Maybe during this quarantine you could go over some navigation, passage making lessons? I appreciate you comment on diesel vs electric during this episode. I have search the web to find the negatives associated with electric drives systems that you mentioned to better understand. In the process I found an excellent website on electric boats and hybrid systems. volt-in-a-boat.com This is by far the best resource I have found on electric boats. I would enjoy your feedback on your concerns, what you think of this resource, and their statement that hybrid electric propulsion system (SHPS) are better than diesel for boat speeds up to 7.5 knots (or hull speed)

Two points! 1) I have a Mantus 30kg for my 50' motor yacht and am very, very impressed. Yes, I can sleep soundly on the boat and not worry about being dragged. I always dive down to check the anchor after we drop, and I am always amazed at how hard it sets. 2) The fact that you two are able to communicate so well, and are very open about your feelings should make you feel secure that it's for the long term. I'm married almost 30 years, and I can say that communication will make or break a couple whether in a tight situation like living on a boat, or not. Every couple fights, and every couple will go through difficult periods where space is necessary, whereas on a boat, you don't have much. However, if you enjoy talking to each other about various subjects, and see yourselves as friends had you not also been lovers, you will most likely do just fine.
