Jo-Ann Greene writes about "Mind Control" AllMusic.com: "Stephen has continued to grow, adding new sounds and styles to his repertoire over the years. A conduit to the past and a bridge to the future, his music -- like his father's -- sounds timeless: reggae that embraces the world."
2004 he started the 27-city Bob Marley Roots, Rock, Reggae Festival tour with his four brothers and sons of Bob – Ziggy, Julian, Damian and Ky-Mani – each of whom have their own professional recording careers. The tour was the first time the brothers have officially performed together on stage.
Every February in Miami, Marley and his brothers perform at his family's annual Caribbean Festival in honour of their late father Bob Marley.

And now you want to say that we are through
What more can I do
What more can I say to you
Now you're gone
Do you remember that first night we met
That was a moment I never will forget
And you kept walking through the pale
Pale moon light
Pa-pa pale, pa-pa pale pale moon light
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
How many times I told you I love you
But now you want to say that we are through
What more can I do
What more can I say to you
Now you're gone
Do you remember that first night we met
That was a moment I never will forget
Love was at first sight
And you kept walking through the pale
Pale moon light
Pa-pa pale, pa-pa pale pale moon light
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
Doo doo doo wop chu wop chu wop
How many times I told you I love you
But now you want to say that we are through
What more can I do
What more can I say to you
Now you're gone
The lyrics of "Pale Moonlight" by Stephen Marley are a classic tale of a love that has ended. The song expresses the frustration and helplessness felt by the singer as his lover decides to leave him despite his numerous expressions of love. The opening lines, "How many times I told you I love you, and now you want to say that we are through, what more can I do, what more can I say to you" lay the foundation for the rest of the song. The vocals are soulful, and the music is upbeat, a stark contrast to the melancholic lyrics that convey the pain of losing the love of one's life.
The song takes us back to the first night the singer met his lover, a moment he cherishes, and one he will never forget. The phrase "love was at first sight" reinforces the idea that despite the breakup, he still acknowledges the depth and sincerity of the love he shared with his partner. The line "you kept walking through the pale, pale moonlight” highlights the beauty of the moment, the purity of the love that they shared, and their mutual desire to be together.
As the song concludes, the chorus repeats, emphasizing the loss and the futility of the singer's attempts to hold on to his love. The final line "now you're gone" leaves a lingering sense of sadness, as we realize that no matter how much we want something, sometimes we have to accept that it has slipped away.
