Have Wheels Will Travel
Stereophonics Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You were mine
I feel fine all the time
So take a look outside my window
I got a beautiful view
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
I got time
I got time on my side
I got time on my side
So take a look outside my window
I got a beautiful view
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
It's a beautiful view, baby
Close my eyes
Close my eyes for a while
Close my eyes for a while
So take a look outside my window
I got a beautiful view
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
Have wheels will travel
You better close your eyes, baby
The lyrics of Stereophonics' "Have Wheels Will Travel" have a simple and straightforward meaning that captures the essence of the song. The singer seems to be content with his life and reflects on the fact that he has a beautiful view from his window that he can appreciate at any time. He acknowledges that he has time on his side and can afford to take a break and relax, indicated by the repeated phrases "I feel fine" and "I got time on my side."
The chorus, "Have wheels will travel," serves as a reminder that the singer has the luxury of mobility and can go wherever he desires. The phrase also symbolizes the freedom to explore and the idea of adventure, which ties in with the overall theme of the song. The repeated verses are a reflection of the singer's contentment with his life, as he encourages his listener to "close their eyes" and appreciate the "beautiful view."
The song seems to be a celebration of simple pleasures and the idea of enjoying life on one's own terms. It encourages listeners to take a step back and appreciate the moments that make life beautiful, whether it be something as simple as a beautiful view or the freedom to explore new places.
