After meeting disBAND Guru Greig Nori, Stand By Me was advised to change their name due to copyright issues. Turn It Up was chosen. Later, in order to perform several shows in Toronto, Ontario, Universal Music Canada A&R rep Mark Spicoluk advised the band to change their name again, and the band chose the name Stereos. After receiving the thumbs up from the judges from disBand, Stereos went to a large gig to receive a contract from the President of Universal Music Canada and judged by Kiss member Gene Simmons. The band released their self-titled debut album Stereos on October 20, 2009 and was certified gold by the CRIA in January 2010 with sales of over 40,000 copies.
In March 2010, the band received two Juno Award nominations which were for Best New Artist, and Best Pop Album. They released two other singles that charted moderately, "Turn It Up" peaked at #31, and "Butterflies" at #51. The song "She Only Likes Me When She's Drunk" failed to chart.
Stereos' second album, titled "Uncontrollable" was released on December 14, 2010. The first single from the album, "Uncontrollable" was released on October 25, 2010 and peaked at #42 on the Canadian Hot 100. The second single, "Body Move" was released in February 2011, just before their cross Canada tour. In mid April the band's drummer, Aaron, sustained a broken hand, leaving him unable to perform, causing the band to cancel their remaining shows.
On March 10, 2019, Stereos announced a 10-year reunion show to take place on May 11, 2019, at Toronto's Rec Room during Canadian Music Week on their Facebook page, which ended up selling out. A second 10-year reunion show in the band's hometown of Edmonton took place on August 16, 2019 and also sold out. On October 20, 2019, the band announced they were officially back in the studio recording new material. On February 3, 2020, the band announced via their social media pages that they would be releasing a brand new single, titled "Sunset Gold" which was released on February 28, 2020.

All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
I just wanna see what your working with, and maybe we can meet again after this now
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
I just wanna see what your working with, and maybe we can meet again after this now
I bet you think all boys are the same
But I can do it better than them
And I'm feelin' that you know I do
Oh whoa oh-oh
Everybody else in here
Wanna get with you wanna make it clear
That they can be what you need
But I know what they ain't right for you
Oh whoa oh-oh
And all I gotta hear you say
Is that you wanna roll with me
Then I'm get your digits and we'll see
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
I just wanna see what your working with, and maybe we can meet again after this now
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
I just wanna see what your working with, and maybe we can meet again after this now
Well I'm always lookin' for a dime
Ten outta ten and I make her mine
She can't order me
So has to take a number down
Oh whoa oh-oh
I know that you got a friend
'Cause every text that I send
Gonna reach these dime by the dozen
Holla back
And all I gotta hear 'em say (say)
Is that they wanna roll with me (me)
Then I'ma get their digits and we'll see
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
I just wanna see what your working with, and maybe we can meet again after this now
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
I just wanna see what your working with, and maybe we can meet again after this now
So if you gotta number let me take it down, girl
Don't got the time to let you mess around, girl
Wanna get this goin' 'riginal
Shoo ay yoop
So if you gotta number let me take it down, girl
Don't got the time to let you mess around, girl
Wanna get this goin' 'riginal
Shoo ay yoop
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
All you pretty girls throw your numbers at me
I just wanna see what your working with, and maybe we can meet again after this now

"All You Pretty Girls" by Stereos is a song about the lead singer’s desire to meet and hook up with beautiful women. Throughout the song, he is essentially requesting that all the pretty girls at the club throw their numbers at him. He mentions that he just wants to see what these girls are working with and imply that perhaps they can meet after this for something more. He confidently tells the girls around him that he can do "it" better than any other guy in the club and knows that he can impress them. He also makes it known that he is looking for a dime – a ten-out-of-ten girl – and if she gives him her number, he'll make her his. The song is basically a call-to-action for women to give him their numbers and an assurance that he will show them a good time.
The song itself has a catchy pop beat and is filled with bold and confident lyrics. The chorus is especially memorable and easy to sing along to, which is something that Stereos is known for doing so well. The upbeat tone of the song keeps things light and fun, while the focus on the singer’s desire to hook up with pretty girls can be seen as somewhat shallow. However, the song's lyrics simply reflect a common desire amongst many young people to meet and hopefully hook up with someone they find attractive.
Overall, "All You Pretty Girls" is a fun and lighthearted song that encourages listeners to embrace their desire to find attractive and interesting partners. Stereos's confident delivery and catchy chorus make it an ideal song for any party or night out on the town.

Lyrics :)
All the pretty girls like Samuel
Oh, he really doesn't share
Although it's more than he can handle
Life is anything but fair, life is anything but fair
Oh oh, oh oh ooh
Oh oh, oh oh
Just as soon as they turn older
He'll come and sweep them off their feet
It's only making me feel smaller
All the hidden love beneath
So won't you lay me, won't you lay me down
Won't you lay me, won't you lay me down
Won't you lay me, won't you lay me down
You lay me, won't you lay me down
All alone, alone again
No one lends a helping hand
I have waited, I have waited
Takes it's toll, my foolish pride
How long before I see the light
I have waited, I have waited
For you to lay me down
Sail on by, sail on by for now
They play naked in the water
You know it's hard, heaven knows I've tried
But it just keeps getting harder
So won't you lay me, won't you lay me down
Won't you lay me, won't you lay me down
Won't you lay me, won't you lay me down
Won't you lay me, won't you lay
Oh, won't you lay me, oh won't you lay me down
Won't you lay me, oh won't you lay me down
Oh, won't you lay me, won't you lay me down
Won't you lay me down
Oh, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait for you
Yeah, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait for you
Oh, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait for you
Oh, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait for you
For you to lay me, won't you let me down
