That "30% of gym goers use steroids" statistic is INSANE. I would never guess that high.
@jinz0
I thought more lol
@marineplatoon1
Yeah if you think that’s high the actual amount (including people who were lying about not taking them) is closer to 70-80%
@eifelitorn
yeah, that statistic is low for sure
@mattb9664
You can thank the incredible amount of pressure that the parents put onto their kids when it comes to getting that athletic scholarship. That's the root cause in my opinion.
@zackwhite5959
@Matt B I would assume that men feel more pressure from wanting to impress other men and women for all kinds of different reasons.
But your comment is very eye opening for me! I hadn't really thought about that. The sports scholarship thing could be a huge factor in why so many people start so young.
@kumogate
This is super interesting and something I've always been curious about but never thought to look into. I once asked my doctor about HRT for men and he cautioned against it because of the side-effects of quitting. I trusted him and just agreed but never really knew about the effects of quitting, and this video has given me some insights into that. So thank you for satiating this curiosity! Love you guys!
@AdrianMTheThird
HRT is usually for life (when using to address clinical deficiencies) so you shouldn’t really go into it thinking about the effects of quitting.
@alpheendomination
Replacing your testosterone to what it should be is different from raising it beyond what it should be
@MatheusTorezani
The takeaway lesson: don't quit steroids
