Dangerous
Steve Aoki Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
But something in the night is dangerous
And nothing's holding back the two of us
But, baby, this is getting serious
Oh oh oh oh oh
Dan-dan-dan-dangerous
Oh oh oh oh oh
Dan-dan-dan-dangerous (oh oh oh oh)
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again (come on, baby)
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again (come on, baby)
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again (I wanna do it again, I wanna do it again)
Baby, this is getting serious
Something in the night is dangerous
(Get sugar)
I don't know where the lights are taking us
But something in the night is dangerous
And nothing's holding back the two of us
But, baby, this is getting serious
Oh oh oh oh oh
Dan-dan-dan-dangerous
Oh oh oh oh oh
Dan-dan-dan-dangerous
Dan-danger-dangerous (oh oh oh oh)
Dan-danger-dangerous
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again (come on, baby)
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again (come on, baby)
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again
It's dangerous, so dangerous
I wanna do it again (I wanna do it again, I wanna do it again)
Baby, this is getting serious
Something in the night is dangerous

The lyrics to Steve Aoki's song "Dangerous" convey a sense of excitement and danger. The singer expresses his uncertainty about where the night will take him, but he is willing to take risks and embrace the unknown because it feels thrilling. He believes that something dangerous is driving him and his partner forward, and he is not afraid to pursue these impulses. The chorus repeats the phrase "It's dangerous, so dangerous, I wanna do it again" to emphasize the singer's sense of wild abandon and the idea that he is addicted to the excitement that comes with taking risks.
The lyrics suggest that the singer is in a state of romantic or sexual infatuation, as he talks about being with "baby" and how their connection is "getting serious." The song's repetition of the word "dangerous" creates a sense of urgency and excitement, and suggests that the singer is not thinking about the potential consequences of his actions. Overall, the lyrics to "Dangerous" express a sense of youthful energy and rebellion, as the singer embraces his desires and seeks out new experiences without restraint.
