What an awesome looking radio. I have never seen one so perfect. Thanks for sharing. Tom

Wow, yes that is a sharp one.

Probably the 183D has improved image rejection but first we need some images to reject!

My National (NC-173) Main Power Transformer (T-21) melted down. Chances of finding an original replacement could be awhile. I was hoping to replace with a generic step down transformer. My schematic diagram, although it's detailed, does not show the step down voltages, so I don't know what to replace it with. Since you work on several radios, can you provide me with the three outputs i need?
Dino Bennet
Thanks Steve.
Steve Ellington
From looking at the schematic you will need 5 volts for the rectifier's filament, 6.3 for the other filaments and about 600v CT for the B+. I no longer have the radio.
