The long awaited rains

It can revive those that have given up on life

And it can fill an empty soul
It can satisfy a void in the soul that is yearning to be filled

And give a heart the only thing
To offer an individual the only thing that they need

Worth living and worth dying for, yeah
Something that is so important that it is worth living and dying for

But we will never know the awesome power
However, we will never fully understand this incredible power

Of the grace of God
God's mercy and love that is involved in this force

Until we let ourselves get swept away
We can't truly appreciate its power until we fully submit ourselves to it

Into this holy flood
To immerse oneself completely into this pure and sacred force

So if you take my hand
If I am joined by someone else

We'll close our eyes and count to three
We will mentally prepare ourselves for the leap of faith we are about to take
