Superstition
Stevie Wonder Lyrics

Very superstitious, writings on the wall
Very superstitious, ladders bout' to fall
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass
Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain't the way

Very superstitious, wash your face and hands
Rid me of the problems, do all that you can
Keep me in a daydream, keep me goin' strong
You don't want to save me, sad is my song

When you believe in things you don't understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain't the way, yeh, yeh

Very superstitious, nothin' more to say
Very superstitious, the devil's on his way
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass
Seven years of bad luck, good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain't the way, no, no, no

Very superstitious, writings on the wall,
Very superstitious, ladders bout' to fall,
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass
Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition ain't the way

Very superstitious, wash your face and hands,
Rid me of the problem, do all that you can,
Keep me in a daydream, keep me goin' strong,
You don't wanna save me, sad is my song

When you believe in things that you don't understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition ain't the way, yeh, yeh

Very superstitious, nothin' more to say,
Very superstitious, the devil's on his way,
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass,
Seven years of bad luck, good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand,
Then you suffer, Superstition ain't the way, no, no, no

As a person slowly losing my sight, this is the single most inspiring song that I can sing as the light fades. Learning to play it on the keyboard is the joy of my life at the moment. God bless you Stevie.

Did you know he didn’t actually slowly loose eye sight, he was in an incubator while a baby, and the temperature was to high and he disconnected some nerves pr something and now he can’t see.

Michael Terrell

Good luck to you my friend. I hope your sight has not been lost.

Mr Wonder is a music genius. Despite his setbacks, he never gave up. A truly inspirational man is Mr Wonder. Thank you, Mr Wonder for your gifts.

You can’t not love Stevie wonder, his charisma songs, and that he’s still doing music despite his setbacks

Kid Renegade

That’s is a subjective opinion

Tyler Wilson
