Possessing a unique style of music that combines a creative blend of upbeat roots reggae with the reverberating echoes of dub, comes a man with no limit for his musical abilities. Stick Figure's music is written, recorded, and produced by Scott Woodruff, a young man from Duxbury, MA.
All of Stick Figure's songs are made by recording each instrument separately, layering several tracks on top of one another in unison.
Stick Figure recently relocated to Southern California and has picked up three new members for the live band, Brendan Dane (San Diego) on bass, Todd Smith (San Clemente) on drums and Kevin Bong (San Diego) on keys. All are incredible musicians and are surely a great addition to the Stick Figure sound. The band is currently in the process of recording their first debut album together, expecting to drop this Winter.

But I ve got the time, I did not come to rescue
Just because everything is not going your own way
Doesn t mean your problems with vanish with some sensi
Doesn t mean your problems with vanish with some sensi
Doesn t mean your problems with vanish with some sensi
Only temporarily, so pass me the sensi
Looking for adventure when I found my self exploring
It s my passion, my only true love
I look for inspiration from the lord up above
But when I go in inside my room and I begin to write
I find the things I want to say the most are hidden deep inside
of a secret inspiration that was planted in my brain uh oh, uh oh ohh
those were the best times of my life, I know your not a waste of time
The heart of my guitar is invested in my soul
take a bottle and a moment and I wills sing and I will show
that there s a million other people who can do what I can do
but when the moment is awaiting I will bring it on home to you
I learned the best lesson of my life today
He said we can t go on like this
I stood right there and laughed at him
And then we laughed it off
Then we laughed it off
I stood right there and laughed at him
"Pass Me the Sensi" by Stick Figure is a song about taking a break from the stress of life by smoking marijuana, commonly referred to as "sensi." The song begins by acknowledging that life on Earth can be stressful, but the singer is willing to take the time to enjoy life's pleasures. The singer advises listeners that smoking sensi may provide temporary relief from problems, but does not solve them. Despite this, the refrain "pass me the sensi" emphasizes the attraction of using marijuana as an escape from reality.
The second part of the song explores the singer's own experiences finding inspiration through music. While the singer seeks guidance from a higher power, they find the best ideas come from within. Music is the singer's "passion" and "only true love," but even writing songs requires digging deep to find significant meaning. The imagery of a "secret inspiration planted in my brain" suggests a spirituality to the creative process. The song continues with a description of music as a universal language that can bring people together.
Overall, the song seems to be about taking a moment to enjoy life's small pleasures and find inspiration in unexpected places. While acknowledging the possibility of using marijuana as an escape, the singer emphasizes that true happiness and creativity comes from within.
