Stitched Up Heart have forged their path in sheer passion and earned their keep in physicality and volume. Both on the road and in the studio, front woman Mixi and the Los Angeles-based quintet face 2016 and their forthcoming Another Century debut with brazen confidence. "Finally Free" is the clarion call for the band's day of reckoning. Recorded by producer Mitch Marlow and captured on video by director Ron Underwood (also known as the high-flying front man for label mates, 9ELECTRIC), "Finally Free" delivers on the promise hinted at on their self-released EP, 'Skeleton Key'. Stitched Up Heart's days of self-booked national van tours and Mixi being a Revolver "Hottest Chicks" mainstay was merely the beginning. Driven by a new level of sonic confidence and topped with the front woman's soaring vocal verve, it's the sound of a band unapologetically coming into its own.
The band's major label debut, the album 'Never Alone' was released on June 17, 2016, and debuted in the Top 10 of both the Billboard Heatseeker and Hard Rock charts.
In 2019 the band released the song "Lost" from their second album 'Darkness'. It features vocals by Sully Erna of Godsmack. It also contains the singles "Darkness" and "Problems".
On September 1, 2023 the band released their third LP 'To The Wolves'. Its lead single is "Possess Me". It also contains the songs ""To The Wolves" (featuring Craig Mabbit from Escape the Fate) and "Immortal". They began a new tour with Escape the Fate, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, Points North, and Garzi a month later.

Never Alone
Stitched Up Heart Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And your heart is black as sin
And when you feel the water rise
And you're about to drown
Can't take all the pressure
Gasping for a breath
You're thrashing arms begin to tire
We'll make it out alive
You're not alone
Never alone
It's pouring tonight
But it won't rain forever
I've been there before
Fought through the storm
I'm here, you'll never be alone
I'm here, you'll never be alone
Losing strenth to fight the waves
Starting to asphyxiate
Fingertips outstretched hoping to get a grip
Of something on something safe
Can't take the pressure
Gasping for a breath
And now you're slipping into shock
Don't close your eyes
(We'll make it out alive)
We'll make it out alive
You're not alone
Never alone
It's pouring tonight
But it won't rain forever
I've been there before
Fought through the storm
I'm here, you'll never be alone
I'm here, you'll never be alone
I'll be your shelter from the storm
Give it one more day
Things are gonna change
It's not the end of the world
(It's not the end of the world)
It's not the end of the world
Can't take all the pressure
Gasping for a breath
Your thrashing arms begin to tire
(Open your eyes)
Can't take all the pressure
Gasping for a breath
And now you're slipping
And I'm grabbing a hold
I won't let go
(Open your eyes)
Taking control
You're not alone
Never alone
It's pouring tonight
But it won't rain forever
I've been there before
Fought through the storm
I'm here, you'll never be alone
You'll never, you'll never,
I'm here, you'll never be alone
You'll never, you'll never
I'm here, you'll never be alone
The song Never Alone by Stitched Up Heart speaks about a person going through a difficult time in their life, feeling overwhelmed and lost. The opening verse sets the scene, describing the feeling of drowning and the darkness that consumes one's heart. The chorus brings a message of hope, assuring that the person is not alone, and that, no matter the intensity of the storm they are facing, it will eventually pass. The line "It's pouring tonight, but it won't rain forever" contains a powerful message of reassurance and comfort.
The second verse continues on the same theme, depicting the physical sensations of struggling to survive, and desperately trying to find something to hold onto. Again, the chorus follows, repeating the message of hope and comfort that the person is not alone. The bridge of the song provides a powerful vision of support, with the singer declaring that they will be the shelter from the storm, and that things will get better. And the final chorus repeats this message one more time, emphasizing that the person in trouble is not alone and will never be left to face the storm by themselves.
