Good Morning Heartache
Stoker Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Good morning heartache, you old gloomy sight
Good morning heartache, thought we said goodbye last night
I turned and tossed until it seemed you had gone
But here you are with the dawn

Wish I'd forget you, but you're here to stay
It seems I met you when my love went away
Now everyday I start by saying to you
Good morning heartache, what's new

Stop haunting me now
Can't chase you no how
Just leave me alone
I've got those Monday blues
Straight through Sunday blues

Good morning heartache, here we go again
Good morning heartache, you're the one who knew me when
Might as well get used to you hanging around
Good morning heartache, sit down

Stop haunting me now
Can't chase you no how
Just leave me alone
I've got those Monday blues
Straight through Sunday blues

Good morning heartache, here we go again
Good morning heartache, you're the one who knew me when

Might as well get used to you hanging around
Good morning heartache, sit down

@Hi
It honestly depends on the situation & WHAT the child Saw/Overheard.
There ARE ways to Talk to Children, while being AGE APPROPRIATE.
Here’s what happens when you..the Parent, LIE to your child:
(Very real situation)
Your child sees 1 parent being VIOLENT to the Other, you KNOW they SAW.
You LIE & Explain Away the Violence by saying it WASN’T What It Fact WAS…
If it’s a Little Girl…She grows up to BE AT HIGHER RISK OF BEING An Abused Wife/Partner. She’ll JUST ACCEPT IT, Because HER MOMMY DID.
(She is also at a MUCH HIGHER Risk..for being Sex Trafficked, SA more than Once, Addiction & Self Harm..including Unaliving.
If it’s a Little Boy…
HE will grow up to Either:
BE an Abuser…or will TURN ON His Father & Violence or Loss of Life will most likely ensue.
OR….
You’re HONEST & to say a 2yr old.. “Daddy did something that Daddy’s Should Never Do & now Daddy has to be in Time Out for a bit”. Or something along those lines.

Never tell a child something like that. It teaches the child that it's okay to be abusive to his mate or to be abused by their mate.

It’s a form of Gaslighting. You’re telling your child that they Did NOT SEE, What They In Fact..VERY MUCH SAW.

@Hi-ys1ss

Then how do you explain that to a child?
