Stone Sour Lyrics

All your neophytes hanging on everything you said
You can take it from me since you took it from me
Even now, the shadow I cast won't set you free
Do you feel your essence through the pain?
If you lose your conscience
Well, your cover is passive-aggressive and blown
This is not about you, because it's all about you
You're out of luck, 'cause this is me not giving a fuck
Do you feel your essence through the pain?
If you lose your conscience
Just save yourself to sacrifice
A little truth for the cause, for the blame
Will you concentrate to realize your fate
Because, we want more, we want more
Be what you want to be get away you're free
What you want to be get away you're free
What you want to be get away you're free
Just save yourself to sacrifice
A little truth for the cause, for the blame
Will you concentrate to realize your fate because
Oh, just save yourself to sacrifice
A little truth for the cause, for the blame
Will you concentrate to realize your fate
Because, we want more, we want more
Because, we want more, we want more
The lyrics of "Nylon 6/6" by Stone Sour are enigmatic and open to interpretation. The song seems to be about someone who is stuck in their own thoughts and struggles to find their sense of self. The first verse talks about how this person is stuck in their head, and others look up to them for guidance. However, the shadow of the singer's presence fails to set them free from the mental struggles that they face. The second verse speaks about the weakness of this person's cover, which is passive-aggressive and blown. The singer asserts that this is not about them, but at the same time, the song is all about them. They have to save themselves to sacrifice a little truth for the cause or blame. At the end of the song, the singer implores this person to realize their fate as they want more.
The song captures the complexity of the human mind, and how sometimes we get stuck in our own thoughts and perceptions. It also talks about how sometimes we must let go of our egos and sacrifices to achieve something greater. The song's catchy melody and heavy rock music only add to the overall impact of the lyrics, making it one of the powerful songs of Stone Sour.
