Storm Lyrics

(Text: H.Nagell)
Eig steve so
Sole går bak aase ned
Skuggan blir so lange
Natta kjem snart att
Tekje meg I fange
Røttre ut I kven står
I godt setre stulegård
Mørke er I kvar bygd
I dei djupe dale
Her på fjell har sole dregd
Med å gå te garde
Te seg kvil under tak
Morgo er ho tile vak

Snart eg gjer ho klar I kveld
Så går eg til kvile

Overall Meaning

The song Nagellstev by Storm is a reflective and melancholic piece that speaks to the musings of a solitary individual on the eve of the night. The opening lines of the song describe the beauty of a sunset as the sun disappears behind the mountains and darkness starts to envelop the landscape. The singer feels a sense of loneliness and apprehension as the night approaches and decides to retire for the day. In the second verse, the singer describes the darkness that is present in every town and village, leading him to seek comfort in the mountains.

The third verse speaks to the singer's love for the mountains, with the sun shining on his back as he treks to his destination for the night. He has a sense of calmness as he prepares for the night and awaits the break of dawn. The song's melancholic nature leads the listener to imagine the pain and longing for something more, something intangible that lies beyond the mountains.

Overall, this song is a poignant reminder of the fleeting nature of time, and the importance of appreciating the beauty that surrounds us, especially in our moments of solitude.

Zsule!" Die Kölner: ,,Was für ein Absturz?" -Und gingen alle raus... 😂😂😂
