See lord, blood will pour again
On all banners blow different names
Don't you pour out the vials of wrath
Madmen make double games in holy war
Worship gods in satanic fire
The flames of hate licking higher
How can you bless bloody battlefield crimes
We have done in your name it's a shame
Stop holy wars
[Chorus:]
You're too young to die
Stay away run for your lives
Say why shall we die
Run away will to survive
Angry old man with a heart full of hate
Stealing your soul and selling your fate
All for heaven's sake in holy wars
Go out for blood kill for your god
You die for a hypocritical nut
Turn your prayer wheels
[Repeat Chorus]
You live for Doomsday holy books deadly shades
You want boys to pray dirty looks our future fades
You're too young to die
Stay away run for your life
[Repeat Chorus]
The lyrics to the song "Holy War" by StormHammer depicts the dark side of religious fanaticism, where people fight wars in the name of God, causing bloodshed and destruction. The singer asks the listeners to take a breath and say their prayers, reminding them that the blood will pour again and different banners will carry different names, but the aftermath will be the same: destruction and despair. He urges them not to pour out the vials of wrath and not to be madmen making double games in a holy war.
The song highlights the fact that worshiping gods in satanic fire and flames of hate, or going out for blood and killing for one's belief, is a hypocritical and shameful act. The singer implores people to stop holy wars and not die for deadly shades of holy books. He warns that living for Doomsday and wanting boys to pray will only lead to our future fading away. Therefore, he tells everyone that they are too young to die and asks them to stay away and run for their lives if the situation arises.
Overall, the lyrics of "Holy War" are a powerful commentary on the dangers of religious extremism, urging people to live in peace and harmony by avoiding holy wars.
