Make Your Own History
Stray From the Path Lyrics
You've been waiting so long to find it in yourself that you have nothing
You've been trying to find yourself through the years
From the start to the finish line
And I can say I have been honest with you
But you're not gonna listen, You don't ever listen
Make your own, make your own history
Leave behind your legacy
Make your own, make your own
Make your own history
Blindly following footsteps before you know it
Traveled closer to your own death
Through the years you've misplaced identities
A hybrid of lies and apologies
Think for yourself
Prove to everyone that your life means something
Do you want to be alive?
Make your own, make your own history
Leave behind your legacy
Make your own, make your own
Make your own history
Leave behind, leave behind your legacy
Stop trying to be something that you're not
Start thinking with your heart and focus on what you got
Make your mark on the world
Because the only lives that count are the ones that make an impact
To live a life is to be profound
Pick yourself up get your feet off the ground
No use for everything to be handed to you
The higher the better it doesn't matter what you do
Make your own history
Make your own history
Make your own history
Make your own history
Make your own history
Make your own

This motivates me so much. Keep making sick music, SFTP.

2:18 makes me want to go outside, flip a car over, piss gasoline all over it, light it on fire, and dive headfirst into the flames. soooo fucking gnarly

doesn't matter if you don't like the vocals or the music
(though I hope you do),
read the lyrics and find the VALUABLE message that is here.
you wont get such a thing from the "hit" list that's thrown in your face and shoved down your throats these days sadly

It doesn't matter what elaborate concoction of labels you can put put together to make yourself appear on top of things in the underground scene. Let me tell you, whatever you think you are, YOU'RE NOT. Stand up, forget those boxes you put everything into and do what they're fucking saying before you can't do it anymore. If you really like the music, you wouldn't be sat there right now.
Igor
can we just call them hardcore and move on
Quinn
ok...to clearify this is NOT a tech hardcore band. They're metalcore-ish but like GameKid98 said, they're hardcore-punk with other things tied into it. They aren't bad, in fact they're amazing. All of you are just jealous you can't play good enough music to stand up to this. =\
folkrav
They call themselves "alternative hardcore". I personnaly prefer to call them "omg that's good music". Maybe it's just me?
