The moral compass of those in power has become distorted and questionable

The people in power have become too entrenched in their own twisted paradigm to see what they are doing to the people

It's no right to disrupt the peace (no right)
The act of speaking out against oppression is not considered a legitimate form of protest, making the people's voice irrelevant

Though their voices may be silenced, they will continue to fight and make their voices heard through their passion and art

The threat of arrest and detention hangs over their head, but it will not stop them from speaking their mind

They abuse their authority
Those in power use their status and authority to silence the people and maintain their control

With this realization, they will be able to better face their adversary and expose them for what they truly are

There's no reason to justify
There's no excuse or rationalization for the unjust actions taken

They just wanna see the lead fly
Those in power derive pleasure and satisfaction from the use of violence and aggression to maintain control

Yeah, the few that got proof got too much to lose
The individuals with evidence or proof of wrongdoing are too afraid to come forward out of fear of backlash and consequences

So they bury the truth (what a surprise)
The truth is hidden away and buried to keep the people ignorant and under the control of those in power

The line between right and wrong becomes distorted and paper-thin
