Beginning at the age of nine with the group R.O.A.R. the young emcee quickly made a name for himself by holding his own in a arena that was flooded with artist that were at least ten years his senior. He has since released four albums: The Bigger Picture, The UnderdoG's Anthem, Scripted In Concrete and the new self titled 'Street Pastor'.
Gather 10 people, in any city in the world; it’s almost a guarantee that 7 of those people are rappers or at least aspiring to be. So in a genre that seems to be oversaturated and full of monotony, how does one break the mold; it seems that Midwest native Yaves the Street Pastor has found the formula.
His shear longevity alone is one to be commended, with over 15 years in the business, and a catalog to prove it, Yaves has not only made an impact stateside but now has a buzz ringing internationally. Recent collaborations with Netherlands DJ Bruce O’Brien landed him rotation in some of Amsterdam’s nightspots and many appearances on UK Mixtapes. Fresh in his 20’s the young veteran is just getting started.
Just this year alone Yaves has added another milestone to his career, as one of the first Independent Christian Rap artist to be granted their own Pandora station. Fans can now listen to the custom Street Pastor channel on their cell phones, laptops, home computers, and just about anywhere that internet is accessible. In June of 2010 his record label Sling Shot Media Group LLC which he owns and operates with his business partner and DJ; Delayne Whiteside; received a national nomination for Best Independent Gospel Label by the YGEA of Atlanta. In September of 2010 he signed a distribution partnership with Universal Music Group which will allow him to release projects worldwide off his Sling Shot Media Group LLC imprint.
Off the stage he is actively involved in rebuilding the landscape and social fabric of his community. His work with the Columbus Urban Leagues SOS program serves as a ministry tool to work with first time juvenile offenders who have been granted a second chance. As public affairs director of Radio One Columbus, he is actively involved in initiatives and cause marketing campaigns that help bring awareness and solutions to the social ills of today’s society .

Jesus lived a perfect life, free from sin..
He died, was buried, and rose again on the 3rd day for the Justification of all sinners.
He paid the sin debt in full with his perfect blood, and whosoever believes in the finished work will receive the free gift of the imputed righteousness of Christ, and Eternal life.
He is preaching turning from sins, and get saved! But the Bible teaches that no flesh shall be justified from the works of the law (turning from sin)
(Romans 3:20)
"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall NO FLESH be JUSTIFIED in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin."

Repent ( turn from Judaism, to believing the finished works of Jesus Christ) not that hard to understand. You can't even get the verse number right, but you don't sin 😂
You'reFrontloading the Gospel which isn't surprising, being that your spiritually blind, and interpret the Bible with carnality. The Bible says "we can't do nothing apart from God" (John 15:5) so how on earth would you expect lost people to turn from sin???? Have you repented of all your sins? Nope. You still live the the way you want to, but expect others to live up to your standards? Thats ridiculous. Muslims believe in repentance of sins, are they saved?? According to you they might be lol. You get saved first, and than if you continue reading word of God change will happen. But it isn't prerequisite to Salvation at all. It's a FREE GIFT!

Being born again is a spiritual birth, that is an act of God.

I can tell your "salvation" is based on your human effort not to sin, and that must suck.. having no assurance, no peace between you and God. You can't point out 1 CLEAR VERSE. that says "REPENT OF SIN, AND RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE" with those words exactly. Not 1.

They are quite difficult people.
I've been assaulted by so called "christians" when they got drunk for rebuking their foul mouths and wicked actions.
Christ said "My people perish due to a lack of knowledge." So many people sit in a pulpit today and are not saved, going to church every Sunday, yet continue to live as they always have before, with an unchanged heart.
Those that believe themselves christian already yet live as the world are the most prideful, and as such, most difficult to share the Truth of the Word of God with. They will twist scripture to excuse their sin.
I want rebuke whenever I fall short. Let me know when I slide if I am so blind to my own ways. These people never reflect or seek to have sin removed from their life. They love it, like a pig that loves the mud, rolling around in it day and night.
My heart mourns for those that will be perishing due to not being born again.

There is((( the ))) law, as in the 600 plus commandments..
There is also law, as in his word/ scriptures/Bible.
From the keeping of ((the))) law shall no flesh be justified in his sight....I.e THE LAW, (600 plus commandments)
If u break 1, u were in fact guilt of breaking them all..
Therefore the need to shed innocent animal blood to cover/atonement for sin.
Life is in the blood.
Therefore Jesus christ shed his eternal blood AS the sacrifice for us 😢

True, if we love God we will obey His commandments.
Thankfully we aren't saved by loving God but rather because He first loved us and gave Himself for us.
"Go and sin no more " is for service, not salvation.
Salvation is absolutely free and not conditional upon service.
The will of the Father is to believe on the one He has sent.
"And this is the will of God that ye believe on the one He has sent."
Mathew 7:21-23 actually describes the fate of the faith plus works equals salvation crowd.
Anyone who says that believing is not enough is actually an unbeliever!
Anyone who thinks that they can lose their salvation is by default trusting in their works.
James is about our justification before men but not before God.
Men can't see our faith but they certainly can see our works.
Simple enough, I can choose to have an alive faith or a dead faith, nothing to do with salvation at all.
James is really about having a practical faith that helps others and cannot contradict Galatians 2: 16, 2:21, Ephesians 2: 8, 9, 10, Romans 4: 5, 6, and Romans 11: 6, which clearly seperate faith from works of any kind.
