Stressi started in 1978 as a band trying to play progressive rock, but inspired by Kraftwerk, Devo, Human League, Gary Numan and David Bowie, by the early 80s their style had changed considerably. On their stage shows Stressi wore black overalls (Devo's had been yellow) and their faces had heavy make-up. They even had their own light show and regular stage crew. However, after a promising start Stressi's activities started to fade soon, since it was hard to get gigs and operate the band activities from the small town of Imatra, and by 1983 Stressi had reached its end.

Terrific, kiitos! :D Do you have any more from Stressi? Even just songs, they are too hard to find! If you do, please put it up!

No, you've got it confused. Mauri Sumén and Jimi Sumén are two separate people. Brothers, but two separate people. Both worked with Sleepy Sleepers in around 1986; Jimi left and later joined Classix Nouveaux whereas younger brother Mauri stayed. Sleepers became Leningrad Cowboys about 2 years later. Both Mauri and Jimi played with another Finnish musician, Tom Dozen, in 1981. And this concludes your Sumén brothers history lesson! :)

I lied! One more thing: Mauri, in those days, sometimes went by Ming Sumén, which might add to the confusion.
