Fast paced rock compositions, irresistible melodies, original lyrics and an outstanding vocal characterize the new Danish rock band, Striving Vines. After a hard touring schedule the last year the band is an interesting live experience – 2009 is dedicated to the recording of their debut album.

Critics have placed the band in the fine company of artists such as Patrick Watson, The Killers and Franz Ferdinand.

No, they'll gaslight you to the death, but never accept it. I feel like happy chaos would be more balanced if A) his reload wasn't so easy to do and cancellable out of and into everything and B) if he didn't have roll, Clone, or curse, which all lead to his zoning being too easy and his ability to exit pressure being too free. @Geriel after i learned about the otg, i labbed to find out who could punish it midscreen. the punish window seemed strict so it was either a reversal punish or nothing. i only found 5 characters who could punish it, and they needed meter to really make it worth it. ky is the only one with multiple punishes (wakeup rtl and stun dipper rc), axl gets a 5p rc punish, chipp gets reversal banki messai, ram can reversal mortobato punish herself, and leo gets reversal super (leiden or whatever it’s called).

if ram uses it to get out of the corner, maybe more characters can punish it, but i’m not sure. i’m sure somebody better/smarter will find something else, but most characters seem to just get their turn after the otg

I main happy, yet I'm excited for the Zoning nerf that they gave him, just makes his close range better to use which has already been scary from the beginning, plus I couldn't zone for shit anyways 😂

I think they went about the right way for nerfing it and hopefully next patch after Happy players play more close range we'll see his normals get buffed a little bit to help out with that.

Was expecting to see GL's 2P on there, for the opposite reason.
His fastest button, but extremely stubby, and for some reason gets low profiled by half the moves in the game. His crouching P gets low profiled.
If Season 2 doesn't include a change to make his 2K a frame or two faster, I'll be very sad.

i think GL's 5P is even better for this. whiffs on every crouching character and even whiffs on standing gio and baiken, which makes that attack 100% useless sometimes. Funnily enough, it's a better antiair than the supposed antiair move (6P) bc it hits high and far and it's fast both on startup and recovery

GLD's 2P is also a 4frame trap into c.S, + on block for tick throws, combos into c.S on crouching hit, functions decently as an anti-air, and converts into one of his best KD's guaranteed.

It has less uses than 2p and 2p even sometimes outshines the one thing it CAN do (anti air) so it ends up feeling redundant and useless. it's only useful chain is into 2p, but since 5p is oriented to long range, you're better off using 2p for that too. Since a spaced 5p 2p will just whiff where 2p 2p will land consistently

Definitely some BS with Gio's 2d, but overall for a rushdown she's not too hard to deal with. My issue with her is mostly that she has the same general game plan as Chipp or Millia but with way more disjointed hitboxes and more health.

Mortobato is definitely some bs as well, super high damaging reversal and really annoying to be hit by, however there are other supers that are equally as annoying as reversals, Anji's guard point super comes to mind.

Anji's super can be countered and it's super easy to beat on whiff. Mortobato is a bit harder to beat on whiff, is faster than the best DPs, has huge hitbox and does tons of damage.

It's not a guard point super, it's just a counter. Easily baited, free punish, loses to throw. Incomparable to Ram's. But Ram's super is still just a super, it's one of the best in the game but it's not why she is strong at all. Her corner pressure with rekka dash cancel into sword throw is what makes her hard to play against IMO. Sure, you can mash out if they dash cancel, but if you guess wrong you are counter hit toast. It's best to just never be in the corner against her, but that is easier said than done as sword toss also carries you into a wall off of any stray hit.

He's a lot of fun, but easy to cheese with at really long range. So even if I like playing him, I'm very happy with the nerfs because it's obvious he's not supposed to be played like that. Heck, the devs even say it straight up in the update.

When I was training with Chaos the day before the nerf I actually met some guy that was cheesing with him. It was a pretty hilarious mirror match, he kept firing at long range and I just waited until his ammo, focus and meter was gone and then rushed up and kicked his butt the way he's supposed to. Up close and personal, using the gun as a follow-up and combo extender pretty much, because his attacks are in general kinda weak and clumsy.

I never understand the concept of making characters people hate good or keeping it that way. Sure people can argue its "good for the health of the scene" and what not. Honestly if you're not playing happy as a zone there is definitely a skill barrier that's not easy to break through with him.
Most happy chaos players outside of celestial just zone because hes not easy to play as a more offensive type character.
It's like blazblue top tiers like yeah they're bullshit but it takes a lot of skill to get that bullshit to actually work effectively.

But you could just zone until season 2......

Gio main here, I admit I feel dirty when I hit someone on the very edge of the 2D like that, but at the same time I will be sad if they nerfed it but not surprised x3. Also, yeah duck HC. Everything in this video will probably be nerfed for good reason.

I don't feel guilty when they use an attack, throwing their extended hurtbox into the Hitbox of the 2D that otherwise wouldn't have hit. I use it like Zatos Reflector.

Yaaay, I love Happy Chaos' characterisation and don't care about the mechanics of the game so him being OP is cool to me.
I mean yeah, please nerf him, but the fact that he's strong and will be known for being strong once in his lifetime is cool to me.
Don't worry. By the looks of things, he's considered "anti fun" (and I agree, but retort with "that fits his character" from a lore perspective), so he'll be nerfed and your game will be fairer in the future.
He just neat is all.

May's 6H is pretty fair compared to her other moves. It's not disjointed and it's pretty slow, so 6P and DP can easily counter it. 5H though... that one hurts.

@Мирослав Кръстев you still shouldn’t die from 1-attack connecting tho so i actually disagree on the “fairness” part. May’s 5H is disjointed and it wall bounces airborne and her 6h is +8 on block literally has no scaling and you lose 90% hp if not all your hp playing lower hp character if one of them connects in the corner.
