Alors on danse
Stromae Lyrics

Alors on
Alors on
Alors on

Qui dit études dit travail
Qui dit taff te dit les thunes
Qui dit argent dit dépenses
Et qui dit crédit dit créance
Qui dit dette te dit huissier
Et lui dit assis dans la merde
Qui dit amour dit les gosses
Dit toujours et dit divorce
Qui dit proches te dit deuils
Car les problèmes ne viennent pas seuls
Qui dit crise te dit monde
Dit famine et dit tiers monde
Et qui dit fatigue dit réveil
Encore sourd de la veille
Alors on sort pour oublier
Tous les problèmes

Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse

Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse

Lalalalalala
Lalalalalala
Alors on chante
Lalalalalala
Lalalalalala
Alors on chante

Alors on chante
Et puis seulement quand c'est fini

Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse
Alors on danse

Et ben y en a encore
Et ben y en a encore
Et ben y en a encore
Et ben y en a encore
Et ben y en a encore

Overall Meaning

The song Alors On Danse by Belgian artist Stromae is about the difficulties of life and how music can help people escape their problems. The phrase "alors on danse" translates to "so let's dance" and is repeated throughout the song. The song begins with the lyrics "Throw your hands in the sky right now, 'cause it's going down", urging listeners to let go of their problems and enjoy the moment.

The second verse is about how the artist is confident in his abilities despite criticisms from others. He talks about living a luxurious lifestyle with expensive food and drink, but also acknowledges that he wears sunglasses to hide his emotions. The chorus "alors on danse" repeats four times, driving home the message that dancing can be a way to escape the stresses of life.

The third verse begins with "flashing lights, the stress of life, it's way too much to handle in one night". The singer speaks about how life can be overwhelming and the need to live in the moment. He mentions waking up with a Russian model in Paris, which adds to the luxurious imagery of the song. The chorus repeats four times again.

The final verse is about how music can touch people emotionally and provide a way to cope with problems. The singer admits that sometimes life is difficult and people want it to end, but music can offer hope and relief. The song ends with the line "and it's your body, not the sky, so you stop blocking your ears and scream even louder. And it persists, so we sing".

Overall, Alors On Danse is a song about the power of music to help people escape their problems, at least temporarily. It encourages listeners to dance and live in the moment, and acknowledges that life can be hard, but music can be a source of comfort.

This guy is a total genius. This is a song about how hard and troublesome life is, and it's still a song that is played in clubs as a happy song, while the ones who dance to it are exactly the ones the song is about, depressed people troubled by problems, who need to dance a bit to forget about it.

Bro u made me cry

@marcusdesai506

Isn't that the club experience though? A bunch of people, high on collective euphoria (and possibly other stuff) dancing to enjoy the moment and forget their lives.

@@marcusdesai506 You think that's doing you a favor, it's not. You need to do something about your problems and wake up
