After being incarcerated for five years, Struggle has gone through a complete transformation -- mentally, emotionally and physically. Through sharing his story on social media networks, Struggle has grown emotionally and intellectually, assuming a new level of social responsibility and becoming an inspirational and motivational force in the lives of people all around the world. He maintained the ability to oversee his career and his public persona through his constant communication with his management team. Struggle's message of strength, determination and courage in the face of adversity has been amplified by his daily presence on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. With the support of Yelawolf, his Slumerican family, as well as his business partner Sebastian Marbury, Struggle managed to develop and maintain a direct connection with his fans despite his being incarcerated.
After being released from prison in January of 2016, Struggle inked a deal with Yelawolf's recently formed Slumerican record label, signaling his return and officially beginning his rise to success. With the launch of a popular documentary series on YouTube and the upcoming release of his sophomore album, Struggle is finally poised to take his place as a true modern day Outlaw and secure his position as the Godfather of the burgeoning Outlaw Hip Hop Rock & Roll movement.

Struggle Jennings Lyrics

Aim it well
My people on the sidelines yelling give em hell
Bumpy ride
We buckled up
Think I'm gonna quit now you got me fucked up
One shot
Aim it well
Bump it right
We buckled up
Think I'm gonna quit now you got me fucked up
They ask me how I feel about comin home spent
My whole life on the ledge edge of my comfort zone
People been patiently waiting on the struggle song
Feds close on my bumper hoping I do something wrong
Get to em manditory life in the pin life of
Crime a sin thinkin bout what I might've been
Takin off my throne trown into a lions den now
I'm staring down the barrel lord it's like a fire pin
Goes on my scope
There's a strong breeze
Sights pressed tight to my eyes take a breath and squeeze
They looking like I'm gone fail first apperence
Can't let it get the best of me need perservearence
You can hear it in my lyrics that the struggles real
Worried bout the bills ain't worried how the fuck they feel
Can't fit a fall
Hit the ground runnin
It'll be a beautiful sound to here this four pound gunning
One shot
Aim it well
My people on the sidelines yelling give em hell
Bumpy ride
We buckled up
Think I'm gonna quit now you got me fucked up
One shot
Aim it well
My people on the sidelines yelling give em hell
Bumpy ride
We buckled up
Think I'm gonna quit now you got me fucked up
Been playing roulette
One shell in the seven
Made a promise give it hell for my people in heaven
They said we get a second chance well tell it to Blake
Tell it to Drake get a pen and then write it to jake
Stay in the chaos of the boats sitting close to the grave
Alotta killers on my boat try to hold em at bay
See my reflection in my kids eyes like who am I
5 bricks in the back seat of a caddy do or die
They said I got a light inside of me how will I use it
Lost in the dark follow the spark don't wanna loose it
The Masters in the pen on iron getting the swoll on
As I walking out the gates he told me struggle hold on
So long remember where you been if this all go wrong
Do it for ones who can't do it homie go on
I took a leap and hit the ground runnin
Now my barrels smokin speakers bumping here the four pound gunning
One shot
Aim it well
My people on the sidelines yelling give em hell
Bumpy ride
We buckled up
Think I'm gonna quit now you got me fucked up
One shot
Aim it well
My people on the sidelines yelling give em hell
Bumpy ride
We buckled up
Think I'm gonna quit now you got me fucked up
One shot
Aim it well
My people on the sidelines yelling give em hell
Bumpy ride
We buckled up
Think I'm gonna quit now you got me fucked up
One shot
Aim it well
My people on the sidelines yelling give em hell
Bumpy ride
We buckled up
Think I'm gonna quit now you got me fucked up
In "One Shot" by Struggle Jennings, the rapper talks about the pressures of life and the struggle to overcome them. The opening of the song is an anthem, calling for a focused aim and the courage to never give up. Struggle acknowledges his past life on the edge of his comfort zone and the challenges he faces daily with the authorities on his back.
He speaks of the fears and doubts that come with being a public figure, and how his music reflects his experiences. He talks about his determination to overcome his obstacles and emerge victorious - this is evidenced by the chorus that emphasizes: "Think I'm gonna quit now you got me fucked up." Struggle's mindset is solidly in the "never-say-die" zone: he doesn't want to be caught up in the negative environments of the past.
