After the tour, von Jackhelln recruited guitarist John E. Jacobsen as a full member of Sturmgeist. Much of Sturmgeist's second opus Über was written during von Jackhelln's stay in Rome, and completed during a devilishly hot week in Florence, Tuscany. A certain Roman influence is present in verses like these:
"Black banner marble arch
A massive army up to march
Skulls to crush land to raid
Brothers attack victors invade"
Sturmgeist's lyrics are aggressive yet playful, taking Metal's traditional pathos to new heights, sometimes to an ironic effect.
Über was recorded at Børge Finstad's TopRoom Studio from October 2005 to January 2006, and produced by von Jackhelln. Drummer AntiChristian (Christian Svendsen, member of Tsjuder, Grimfist and The Cumshots) lay down a hard-hitting and steady foundation for the new songs on Über, enhanced by von Jackhelln and Jacobsen's downtuned twin guitar attack. Songs like Blood-Axe and Grimanic Guerillas display the essence of Sturmgeist, with their compact structure and in-your-face message, while Über provides two real surprises: The Unknown Soldier is Sturmgeist's first ballad ever, marked by Jacobsen's melodic songwriting sensibility and countertenor Olav Benestvedt angelic voice. Falco's song Rock Me Amadeus should need no further introduction, as it perfectly captures the Baroque decadence of the mid-80s:
"Es war um 1780
Und es war in Wien
No plastic money anymore
Die Banken gegen ihn"
With their first cover song, Sturmgeist also celebrate the 250th birthday of the Rocking Amadeus, Mozart himself.
After the release of Meister Mephisto, Terrorizer critic James Hinchley called Sturmgeist's imagery a unique kind of jackboot chic. Über's artwork is inspired by the etchings of Albrecht Dürer and the aesthetics of the German Kaiserzeit. The slightly modified Union Jack that adorns the front cover of Über prolongs Sturmgeist's hungry and irreverent exploration of Germanic culture. (The said flag might not only indicate a German-dominated Britain, but also inversely, and more probably, a British-dominated Germany - or simply Sturmgeist's stage banner!).
After the success gig at the Underworld in Camden, von Jackhelln authored the song London as a morbid but humorous homage to the London audience:
"Eternal City Northern Line
I purge the filth I herd the swine
Hang the robbers from my Tower
That's what they get for hating Power
Life's lost Death's won
People die but party on
I am London King of Cum
Drink my sperm you filthy bum"

There was also a kind-of-symphonic-metal band from Trier, Germany called Sturmgeist (they had to change their name into Herbstgeist). They have released there Demo in April 2007.
Also, the song "Sturmgeist89" was made against Finnish Jokela School-massacre in 2007. Sturmgeist89 was Pekka Eric Auvinen's username in internet (including his YouTube channel.)

In the land I loved
Father's dead and Mother's gone
I will not come back
In every house they wait
For the guest that will not come
In every bed they wait
Take it all make it yours
I have no more dreams
Love me now when I'm gone
I won't know how it ends
There is no place for me
In the land I loved
Father's dead Mother's gone
I will not go back
Little sister think of me
I tried to keep you safe
Father's dead Mother's gone
We won't meet again
In every heart he's missed
The lover and the friend
In every war's fire
The unknown soldier's end
In every war's fire
The unknown soldier's end
Little sister think of me
I tried to keep you safe
Father's dead Mother's gone
We won't meet again
Bury me in the sea
Leave this world to the worms
Erase my name forget my face
We won't meet again
The song "The Unknown Soldier" by Sturmgeist is a haunting and melancholic reflection on the devastating effects of war. The singer laments that there is no place for them in the land they once loved, as both their father and mother have passed away. They have no more dreams and have resigned themselves to the fact that they will not return. The lover and friend that many hold dear will not come home, and the song emphasizes the emptiness and longing that those left behind feel.
The singer's little sister is mentioned, and they ask her to think of them as they have tried to keep her safe. The singer wishes to be buried in the sea and asks to be forgotten. The unknown soldier's end is a common theme in war songs, emphasizing the anonymity and disregard for life that soldiers sometimes face. The song is somber and reflective, shedding light on the casualties and loss that occur both during and after times of war.

There is no place for me
I feel lost and disconnected from my homeland
In the land I loved
The place that I cherished and called home
Father's dead and Mother's gone
My parents have passed away and I am all alone
I will not come back
I have accepted that I cannot return to the place that I once knew
In every house they wait
Those left behind are still waiting for me to come home
For the guest that will not come
They still hope that I will return, but know it is unlikely
In every bed they wait
Every night they lie awake, fearful and uncertain
For the man who isn't home
But I am not there, and they do not know where I am
Take it all make it yours
I have nothing left, please take what you can
I have no more dreams
I have given up on hope for the future

My younger sister, please remember me and know that I tried to protect you

The lover and the friend
As both a lover and a friend, I will be sorely missed
In every war's fire
In the chaos of war and battle
The unknown soldier's end
I will be one of many nameless soldiers who lost their lives
Bury me in the sea
My body should be consigned to the ocean
Leave this world to the worms
After I am gone, I will return to the earth and be reclaimed by nature
Erase my name forget my face
Please do not remember me as an individual or a hero
We won't meet again
Once again, our paths will never cross
