Whenever a general goes to war, he calls upon his best soldiers to lead him to victory. On August 29th, 2006, Suburban Noize Records proudly goes to war with the release of SubNoize Souljaz “Droppin' Bombs,” a 20 song collaboration unifying a roster of artists currently making waves in the world of underground music.
SubNoize Souljaz “Droppin' Bombs” features the very best that underground music has to offer today. This army is comprised of Daddy X, D-Loc and Richter of the Kottonmouth Kings ; white trash renegade Big B , who also appears on the hit A&E television series Inked ; Jared from (hed)p.e. ; influential lyrical activist Brother J of the legendary X Clan ; political rapper Judge D ; underground sensation Dirtball ; punk rockers Last Laugh ; Psychopathic Records very own Twiztid and a host of other rising stars.
“For years Suburban Noize has been more like a family than a record label. We've always made guest appearances on each other's records, toured together and supported one another to push everyone's success to new heights,” says Daddy X of Kottonmouth Kings. “This record is not only a great creative experience but a great way to show the unity between everyone.”
One of the most surprising tracks on the album comes on the title track “Droppin' Bombs” featuring Psychopathic Records Twiztid, Big B, Dirtball and Daddy X of Kottonmouth Kings. The song unites two of the biggest forces in the world of underground music on one track.
"It was time to show the underground that the controversial beef between Twiztid and us was laid to rest," says Daddy X. "It was great to bring the Psychopathic and Sub Noize families together."
Other notable tracks on the album include X Clan's Brother J, Daddy X and Tristate from One Session coming together in a moment of hip hop bliss on “Locomotive;” the original “Royal Highness” line-up of the Kottonmouth Kings re-uniting to create “Still Smokin';” while Johnny Richter teams up with punk rockers Last Laugh on the album closing “Camp Radd,” a song about the good times they shared together.
For over a decade Suburban Noize Records has been creating an underground empire, marketing and distributing over 20 artists including Kottonmouth Kings, (hed)pe , Authority Zero , and the legendary X Clan . Ignored at large by mainstream media, Suburban Noize Records popularity continues to thrive as an alternative to the corporate labels.
With over 20 tracks that range from banging hip-hop to full on aggressive punk rock, SubNoize Souljaz have created an arsenal of smoking tracks for their assault against the corporate music world. Join the army or prepare to be annihilated.

Cause I see nobody, nobody but you, you, you
I'm never confused
Hey, hey
I'm so used to being used
So I love when you call unexpected
Cause I hate when the moment's expected
So I'ma care for you, you, you
Cause boy you're perfect
You're always worth it
And you deserve it
The way you work it
Cause boy you earned it(shit)
Boy you earned it, yeah
You know our love would be tragic (oh yeah)
So you don't pay it, don't pay it no mind
We live with no lies
Hey, hey
You're my favorite kind of night
So I love when you call unexpected
Cause I hate when the moment's expected
So I'ma care for you, you, you
I'ma care for you, you, you, you, yeah
Cause boy you're perfect (boy you're perfect)
You're always worth it (always worth it)
And you deserve it (and you deserve it)
The way you work it (the way you work it)
Cause boy you earned it ()
Boy you earned it, yeah
On that lonely night (lonely night)
You said it wouldn't be love
But we felt the rush
It made us believe it there was only us, (only us)
Convinced we were broken inside, inside
Cause boy you're perfect (boy you're perfect)
You're always worth it (you're always worth it)
And you deserve it (and you deserve it)
The way you work it (the way you work it)
Cause boy you earned it (boy you earned it)
Boy you earned it, (shit)
Cause boy you're perfect
The way you work it
And you deserve it
Boy you deserve it
You earned it.
The lyrics to "Droppin Bombs" by SubNoize Souljaz seem to be a love song about a person who has finally found someone who treats them well and makes them feel loved. The chorus repeats the phrase "boy you're perfect, you're always worth it, and you deserve it, the way you work it" which can be interpreted as the singer telling the person they're singing to that they are amazing and deserve all the love and care they are receiving from the singer. The singer also expresses how they feel towards their relationship by stating that they don't like when moments are expected, but they love it when their significant other calls them unexpectedly. This shows that they enjoy spontaneity and appreciate when their partner goes out of their way to show them that they care.
The bridge of the song is a bit more somber and talks about a lonely night where the singer and their partner were not expecting to fall in love but did anyway. This feeling of falling in love quickly made them believe that they were the only two people in the world that mattered, despite feeling broken inside. The repetition of "boy you're perfect, you're always worth it" throughout the song reinforces the singer's love and admiration for their partner.
