I'm expressing my emotions and thoughts nonverbally through my eyes, yet no one seems to notice or care.

My attempts to communicate my struggles are going unnoticed and unheard by others.

I'm at a loss for how to more effectively communicate my struggles and pain to those around me.

Internally, I'm in a great deal of emotional pain and distress, yet others around me cannot seem to perceive that anything is wrong.

Others are ignoring or disregarding my presence and my struggles, leaving me feeling invisible and alone.

When the last tear falls down
Even if I let myself cry and release some of my pent-up emotions and pain, it doesn't change the fact that nobody is listening to me or taking my feelings seriously.

Nothing gets washed away
The release I feel from crying is only temporary and doesn't make any difference in terms of addressing my emotional pain or helping to get others to understand me better.

Another plea put to rest
My attempts to reach out to others and communicate my needs have been met with silence or dismissal, leading me to feel even more alone and helpless.

So what did I do to you
I'm struggling to understand why others are not supporting me or standing by me through this difficult time.

That makes you run from me
Others seem to be avoiding me or retreating from me when I'm struggling, leaving me feeling even more isolated and unsupported.

Now I'm sitting here screaming inside myself
I'm overwhelmed with intense emotions and a deep sense of despair, yet nobody seems to be listening or noticing my pain.

Don't understand why nobody hears
I'm feeling frustrated and hopeless about getting others to understand me and support me during this difficult time.

You figured it, you shaped it to your perfection
Others seem to be dismissing or minimizing my feelings, perhaps even in an attempt to make me fit more neatly into their own expectations or worldview.

Subtracted my feelings from this equation
Others are leaving my feelings out of the discussion altogether, leaving me feeling isolated and ignored.

Is it all in my mind
I'm starting to question whether my distress is something that I'm just imagining or that others are making me feel needlessly.

Then it would be easy to find
If my distress were simply something I'd made up in my own mind, it would be much easier both to understand and to dismiss.

So what do I have to do
I'm struggling to determine what steps I need to take in order to get others to understand me and my situation better.

To make you comfort me
I'm hoping others will pay attention to my struggles and provide me with emotional support and comfort during this difficult time.

Well I'm sitting here crying inside myself
I'm continuing to experience intense emotions and deep distress, yet others are not noticing or reacting to my pain.

I feel like I'm expressing my pain and distress to an empty room - nobody is listening or responding to my struggles.

Despite my attempts to communicate my pain and get others to understand my situation, I am still feeling unheard and unsupported during this deeply difficult time in my life.
