On my first day at a job in a jail facility I received tour. As I was being shown the intake and booking area, the deputy giving me the tour told me to turn around and face the wall. Something in his voice made me do so without question. What was going on was that at that moment an inmate from the areas high security prison was being brought in for his court appearance that day and he was being walked past where we were. I was not in any physical danger, but the deputy later stated that this inmate was actually one of the most dangerous people in our system. He had an eidetic memory and I was told I would not want to be on his radar in any manner. He had killed several people including his lawyer who represented him, attacked his second lawyer and now he was representing himself. Even though he had not yet been convicted he was being held in prison because he was too dangerous to be held in the detention facility.
He was later found guilty and is serving several life sentences.
An interesting side note is that he ran for political office from prison and actually received a certain percentage of the vote.

You missed Harold Shipman in the UK. He was a doctor that killed 250 patients, mostly elderly people. He got them to include him in their wills and then murdered by overdose of a medication. Hung himself in prison.

Thank you for mentioning Shipman. I was in HMP Doncaster (as an innocent prisoner), anyhow, my neighboor prisoner told me that he was a seral killer, who had murdered several families. He used to be a burglar, and sneeked into homes. He first killed the father with a knife, then the mother, then the children. He believed he was doing Gods will, to prevent those people he killed, to commit sins. He had all the names of his victims cut into his arms. He was one of the few people in prison that protected me against bullying. Do you, by accident know his name ? HMP Doncaster 1999-2000. In the end, he got life sentence in the UK.

0:44 I knew a man that looked exactly like this, I served a sentence in a Canadian federal institution in 1985 and met this man at a church retreat within the prison through prison ministry. We called him Big AL, serving a life sentence for murder's committed for the mob. Long story short...This man was frightening because of his size, features and mind set. Nobody messed with him. When I met him I was just beginning my sentence and his was coming to an end.
At the church retreat there were outsiders who came in to give testimonies, the church was packed with inmates, guards and outsiders. Anyways, this one ex-marine who was a guest came up and told his story and was crying about the events in Vietnam. His first experience was killing women and children and he talked more with tears and eventually broke down to the point that the other outsiders had to come up and comfort him. After a while Big AL got up and snatched the microphone from his hand and breathed demonically into the mic hissing, saying, you think he had it so bad?
I am not going give all the details but at the end he talked about a murder he did in the States and gave details of how; basically drilling eyes, hacking members and garbage bagged thrown into a river. I was sitting in the pew stunned listing to him as was my buddy next to me. We had not noticed that the building was cleared, literally cleared because he scared everyone, inmates included. We were the last ones except for a few guards at the back of the chapel.
A few weeks later he was up for parole and was released but "Gated" meaning arrested for the crime he confessed to in the chapel. The guards took note and an investigation was launched and so here he is to this day.
I heard his horrific story of how he grew up and thought, "no wonder this poor man is insane'.

Serial killers for the most part aren't particularly dangerous in prison, as a rule they murder people who are unable to defend themselves.

I'd describe "the most dangerous prison inmates" as those who are capable of killing others while in prison, either by being physically powerful and utterly ruthless (like Carl Panzram), or able to fashion weapons even in supposedly sanitized cells, or who still retain influence on the outside so that minions or allies can carry out hits.

The most dangerous inmate is the casual offender in General Population with no right ups or previous violations who gets to missing his family around the holidays and spontaneously loses his mind over something small and starts smashing people or things. I saw this exact thing occur at the USDB in the early 90's. There is no preparing for that. The "Bad Boys" are locked in the SHU and require hand irons, leg irons and a belly chain to be applied with two guards standing by before the door is opened. They aren't getting to anyone or anything if procedures are followed.

Keeping the oppressed (any one not in a power position, or of status, of of money) uneducated, broke, and dumbed down, so when they break a simple law, or any law, they don’t have resources to defend themselves properly and now have a record, following them for life.

Which means their life is ruined in “society” and their standard of living. When if ALL would give a few moments of their lives to EDUCATE themselves about the “corrections department” of the United States, most of society wouldn’t put people into a black box because they served time. And then that person never has a chance at a real life after their jail/prison sentence. Then said person who had no means to have a good defense, having to rely on a public defense (which is inept, at best!), goes through the roundabout door of the Corrections Department, wherever they commit their infraction, minor, all the way up the ladder.

One thing I thought interesting was that you didn’t include why the Unibomber or Manson turned out like they did. The Unibomber hated the government because they had conducted weird experiments with a group of young men and it messed with his head. The Thugies where known for their way of execution, they used a cloth or bandana like fabric to strangle their victims.
They where known to be able to do this in a moment and could snap the neck of a man with a quick twist of the cloth.
In the picture at this time frame 6:58 it shows the man coming up behind the sitting man with a cloth in both hands ready to strangle him.

I've done crimes, made others do crimes and was convicted only once and it was a stupid thing that got me. During my 4 years, I gained a young guy who did as I wished and I must say, he was better than most females I ever met because females got that big mouth on them. I'll write to my guy in the jail until he gets out then we'll see. The narrative on Ted Kaczynski was a bit short, he didn't hold a grudge against the US government. Instead he holded a grudge against technology taking over our lives, which it did. He targetted specific individuals who were responsible for certain techonological advances. Also, he is not just 'smarter than inmates', he is probably smarter than all of us. Because it's clickbait that stereotypes prisoners as inhuman. We don't need help with that but the private prison industry thanks you. Soooo he's not even a real prisoner. Yeah man I can handle using a guy with a big pentagram face tattoo with many others so there is no skin color left, because that crap is real among some of the anti social prisoners. He was dangerous that is true, but he was also liked by the prison guards because he was friendly and joked with them, and was kind to women and children, just not to drug dealers. He is also dead. So he 'was'. Please do more research.

Well I know the Florence ADX quite well. It is called simply "Mighty Max". It has a very nice front facing from the highway. Want a real view? Take Silom road behind it. We have the some very fuzzy, warm and cozy guests there. Prisoners are kept underground, never see the light of day and no clocks. They are driven in with a last glimpse, about 10 seconds or so of daylight and the rocky mountains before entering the complex with concrete on their right.
